(Not an insert, btw. This guy's an OC.)Name: Alistair (last name unknown, even to himself); goes under surname of ValtinasAge: 17-ishPersonality: Keeps to himself mostly, but more due to loneliness than anything else. In truth, he's a kind-hearted, but somewhat shy boy. He'll protect his comrades to the death if driven to such a point, no matter what. He also loves the natural world; everything from the stars in the sky to what little plant life remains in the world. Appearance: Of medium height, and somewhat thinner than most boys his age. Brown hair, with a splotch of bright red along the fringe of a long bang that comes down across his face. Wears a formal light blue shirt with fancy collar, white pants, and black boots. Almost always has a forest-green cloak draped around him and ALWAYS has a violin case (with violin inside, duh) slung across his back or carried in his hands. Bio: Grew up in a moderate sort of family. Parents died in an incident long ago, of which he has no memory. He grew up by himself after that point, wandering the land in search of any bleak ray of hope in the world of turmoil. As a result, he's basically become a nomad, traveling all over looking for some way to start his life anew, but never finding that particular place that he feels an affinity to, and thus continues to travel. Deck: Magical Yeah, it's short. But I've addressed pretty much all of the main points for a character, so just go from there I guess. And if you do use him, I expect that proper credit to the owner be given. This works nicely. Thank you.Sure, sure. I think it's best to avoid inserts for fics. I know that sounds hypocritical, but if there's anything I learned about writing a self-insert fic is people tend to focus more on their insert rather than caring for the actual story and no author wants that.Especially when they complain about what happens to their insert.Ugh That's why I HATE insert fics. The Warden Posted March 7, 2012 Report Share Posted March 7, 2012 Well, here's one card: Accelerated EvolutionNormal SpellSend 1 'Petit Moth' you control equipped with 'Cocoon of Evolution' to the Graveyard; pick up cards from your deck until you draw a 'Moth' Monster that lists 'Petit Moth' in it's card text and Special Summon it, ignoring the Summoning Conditions . I heartily recommend the Minnie the Moocher one, it is quite a smooth song if I do say so meself.
