...Wait a minute, from that pic of Yuma...

They're still using the same Animation/Graphic Designers?

I wonder if most of the same cast from 5D's is still there.

Probably, why would they tell the 5Ds team to bugger off and make way for a new team for Zexal?

I think they use the same designers to maintain a consistency in the art (so it looks YGO and not something like Dokuro-chan).

Like Wynn, I'm reserving judgment until the show unfolds.

I think Konami just decided that "f*** they are still on our payroll, lets fuckin milk this".

Consistency my ass.

I don't know. I just found it weird that they end 5D's, then suddenly, almost everyone who was working on that jumps straight into this.

I guess that does explain it though.

Would be nice if the ZEAL video didnt load for 5 years :/

Might have to refresh or watch it at another time.

Or find it on Youtube. I think shriek has the HD Episodes up already.

Guys... am I the only one who noticed that ZEAL is a lot like Starforce?

No really, Yuma and Shark are like: "WAVE BATTLE! RIDE ON!", and then everything becomes all hologram-like.

AND I FIND IT TO BE FUNNY HOW IN A DUEL, EVERYTHING GETS DESTROYED LIKE, BUT ITS ONLY A HOLOGRAM AND WHAT-NOT.

I first though that Yuma made me think of Satoshi and Shark made me think of Shinji, but yup. I noticed that, too.

Do you know the most interesting thing?

The D-Gazer covers only 1 eye. Therefore, they see all the stuff in one eye and they didn't even pay attention to the other one.

So one eye sees an epic Duel, the other eye sees everything normally.

... nice, Konami.

EDIT: Yuma's also a really immature Sonic...

My guess is the D-Gazer was originally going to be a pair of sunglasses, but at the last minute they said: "NO! Lets make it a scouter instead!".

It's still a big error, since the one eye remaining can only see things normally...

Also, I'd just like to bring up something right out of the way.

The D-Gazer shows a virtual reality, not holograms. It has a point that produces vision (the glass, showing the virtual reality) and sound (making the sound). So this is no longer holograms, but rather a virtual reality seen through the scouter...

Add to it, its kinda' funny how things get all static-y while they are "loading up".

My absolute main premature complaint was the flashiness.

Except it turned out to be fine.

Although Zubaba Knight and Big Jaws sound f***ing hilarious.

ZUBABA SOOOOWDDDD

*gets bit*

OW!

Wait, so if an entire city gets blown up in a duel, it didn't actually happen?

Aw.

Yuma's also a really immature Sonic...

More like Joey, when he sucked.

Do you have any idea how tramautizing it would be to have a 100% belivable hologram?

Traumatizing enough that anyone with heart problems or hell, even just are slightly nervous, can get in severe medical trouble when the giant dragon just rips a bite out of their flesh.

IRL they would probbaly not be ALLOWED to have full VR like your jabroniing about.

It's actually fridge brilliance.

Plus egads! CHANCE FOR CHARACTER DEVELOPMENT AFFECTING PERSONALLITIES AND NOT SIMPLY WHAT ARCHETYPE THE CHARACTER USES? IN YUGIOH! THE ANIME HAS JUST BEEN RUINED FOREVER

Yes, right now, Yuma is Joey.

Random Monster

Random Equips

Did not expect a TRAP. OHLAWD, WHOCOULDEVERDOTHAT

Let's not forget the:

"TRAP KAADO SETTO, TAAN ENDO."

...

Dark Zane?
