So Duel Monsters, you've heard of it, or at least it's assumed you have. It's just a card game, right? Well maybe that was the case when it first came out. When Industrial Illusions created the card game, loosely based on Egyptian hieroglyphs, they didn't know just how much presence it would have in the lives of people the world over in later years. It started as a simple table top game. Tournaments were present but for the most part it was a way for friends to pass the time. Then as technology got involved eventually Kaiba Corp. created a portable way to play the game that also produced amazing holograms of the cards. It was aptly called the Duel Disk.

 

For awhile amazing tournaments were held with these devices and Duel Monsters rose in popularity. As society advanced both in the flow of time and technology another invention came to the world of the game. Namely the D-Wheel, sometimes called the Duel Runner by certain groups of people. The D-Wheel allowed the game to be played in the middle of a thrilling motorcycle race. Simply going somewhere could become a fun game with amazing displays. Eventually with the placement of the Speed World Field Spell and the introduction of Speed Spell, Riding Duels, also sometimes called Turbo duels, became a set way to duel and became the most crowd pleasing method of holding a tournament.

 

Now time has passed since the introduction of the D-Wheel and Riding Duels. And while no new revolution to the world of dueling has come about the technology continues to improve and the number of participants in the game the world over continues to increase. Though Riding Duels have as of late seemed to lose that initial glimmer they had. Less people come to see the one on one Riding Duels each month. So Kaiba Corp has a new idea.

 

For awhile now there have been what's been called Duel Gangs. While they aren't particularly harmful to the people of a community they do attempt to assert their command over more and more turf by defeating all other challengers in a given neighborhood. Kaiba Corp has now invited the four most well know Duel Gangs from around the nation to one spot to see them compete in a Grand Tournament!

 

Each team is to have four members. Each round three duels will be conducted. Two members of the team must compete in normal duels while the other two must compete in Riding Duels. For the first round the two normal duels will be condensed into a tag team match, the same will be true for the two riding duels in the second round. The team who wins two of the three matches proceeds. So come now you members of the Dueling Gangs. You have different pasts and different goals all of you but there is one common thing you must all do to realize your dreams! Kaiba Corp will grant each member of the winning team one wish and so long as it's in their power they will grant it. Come to entertain the public with the new tournament format, come to assert yourselves as the top Duel Gang around, come to see your own desires fulfilled!

Yes, that one... Nex's plot was full of sheer crack, so I had Andx make one...
