This post will probably get lost in your current discussion which seems to be a kind of "problem" with this Club. Buuuuuuut~ [spoiler=Aesir tries to make a Sci Fi story again]The great space out there is truly a mystery. No matter how deep into it you put thought you couldn't even start to comprehend the size of the universe. The universe didn't have size. It was infinite. Something that was infinite could not have a determined size, just because it was infinite. Toby chuckled. Stars were spread all over the night sky, not a cloud could be seen in the moonlight. This was rare, thought Toby Goldman, an old fisherman who had moved from his successful fishing life in the United Kingdoms for the new and exotic waters of Greece. It hadn't given him much luck, however, and he spent most of his time aboard his boat stargazing. He was a philosophic man, but being a philosopher never gave him the rush he got from fishing, but the numbers of fish that he was pulling out of the Mediterranean waters was decreasing, and if it continued like this he would soon be back to being a poor man. He lacked any relatives and money, so he couldn't make his way back to England. He was forced to hope for the best. No, there's no story or anything in that. Toby let out a hearty chuckle, gazing up at the stars. The celestial bodies were spread across a clear, night sky, like spacial butter on the great toast of heaven. This is rare, thought Toby Goldman, a fisherman who had left the successful marine seascape of the United Kingdom for the exotic waters of Greece. The move hadn't given him much luck with his catch, however, and nowadays Toby spent most of his time aboard his seaworthy boat, marveling at the night sky. He was a philosophic man, but the practice of philosophy never gave Toby the rush he got from fishing. The only way I could replace the gods is to basically make my character like that one trainer that owned Ash with Darkrai. tbh, this wouldn't really be right.
