The problem is the populace of YCM

Get this through your head then. CC isnt like the rest of YCM.

Same goes for TCG/Decks. So go have fun...

ChaosIncarn gave me an idea. When an elder member behaves poorly' date=' give them a 90% warning. They would then realize then that if they continue acting that way, they would be banned.

[/quote']

Uhhh.... we are talking about Joining right?

So even more so I should get fixated on the Elder Members.

No, Icy knows how to deal with newer members, but lately there has been some flamming caused by Elder Members.

Ugh... My error, I didn't explain myself, I meant we're talking Elder Members taking the date of Joined right?

Uugh... ._.

I probably wont be active for a week or so. Got some tragic news and I don't wanna handle YCM. So while I'm gone, if I see anyone mess up because they know I won't be around; they're gonna get the boot so hard, they'll be chewing on it. Kay?

So can I ask that people who have me on MSN, notify me of any problems in CC as they arise? I'll handle them blindly... So yeah.

I have to say this: I might jut be one o the few remaining advanced members that take kindly to newer members. I also help them out (through PM's) with balancing and OCG. My solution to the problem is this:

"You must have at least 2 stars to create threads in the 'Pop Culture' or 'Finished Sets' sections."

It will get the newer members some time to get used to YCM... And when they can take some critisism or at least do something about it, then they can post.

Considering that CC is where all users start off, that would cause more problems than we could have right now. Not to mention it does 2 things that is just stupid.

1) Implies that post count matters.

2) Promote the fact that one member is better than another, and that is simply not true.

I wish we had a forum where others can mentor newbies' date=' it would be team building and something to do.

Because it would segregate people. That's why. Newbies and Elders are the same.

Why just the elder members? I have seen a few cases where the newer member has behaved just as if not worse than the elder member. And if it's a first time offense a 90% warning looks rather harsh.

Icy can deal with newer members, as stated before

I guess, maybe 80% or 70%, just so the member knows that what he/she is doing has to stop immediately.

I just want to say this:

You can never virtually destroy social gaps. You can tighten it, but never close it. Even, Josh, when you post you refer to as "Elder members" and "newbies". Right there you are using the social gap. So in effect, if you compared me to you, you would be the "Elder member" an I would be the "newbie". Again, you can never close a social gap.

Yeah, but it's the Elder Members that are setting the example.

Oh, yes, and not to make anybody mad, but...

Also...

we need Ideas with elder members not new members...

Right there, where I bolded it. There. A social gap. You, sir, have just suggested to ban all newer players, or people with a lower post count than you, from giving suggestions here on this thread.
