Guest JoshIcy
When an elder member behaves poorly' date=' give them a 90% warning. They would then realize then that if they continue acting that way, they would be banned.[/quote'] Why just the elder members? I have seen a few cases where the newer member has behaved just as if not worse than the elder member. And if it's a first time offense a 90% warning looks rather harsh. Yeah, but it's the Elder Members that are setting the example. This guy has the right idea.
seattleite
Oh' date=' yes, and not to make anybody mad, but... Also...we need Ideas with elder members not new members... Right there, where I bolded it. There. A social gap. You, sir, have just suggested to ban all newer players, or people with a lower post count than you, from giving suggestions here on this thread. You took it out of context, he meant Ideas about how to handle Elder Members, since we already know how to handle newer ones. Not to ignore ideas from them.. ss2phil
Well I might not be an advanced member but can I suggest something?maybe you could ban the concerned members for lets say a day or week and after that, they would need to make excuse to the ones they insulted,if they wanna come back This is my idea, feel free to take it or throw it away
Luna Lovegood
I find that this has been going on for a very long time. For as long as I have been on this forum, members (from new members to members with thousands of posts) have given a wide range of reviews. I'd recommend keeping a list of repeat offenders in a locked thread. Every time they commit an offense, you'd know how many priors they'd had and could warn them appropriately, with higher warns for repeat offenders. Say, an extra point every time? This would probably stop every offender after about 6 times. And when they had gone without a warning for a certain amount of time, they're name could be erased from the thread and the slate wiped clean. If a person hit you once, and he did not go o jail until he hit you 5 more times after that, it would seem kind of stupid, no? So i Suggest maybe 3 or even 2 times. CC has become strict, and this is a privilege as it is. Bad comments can equal a ban at any time. So this as is is a privilege.

RickiMinaj
Do you (or anyone else for that matter)' date=' understand and agree why I do this?[/quote'] I may not understand you to the fullest extent but I assume you do this for the following reasons. ✖ To avoid overload of spam. There is enough as there is...✖ To keep CC safe, from malicious users and porn posters✖ To avoid conflict and unneeded arguments between members✖ To stop bad comments and over the top harsh critiques✖ To increase the flow of good idea's and calmness in the CC section Those 5 reasons are my assumptions, but correct me if I am wrong. Huntar!
I'm aware that I'm most definitely not active in this forum, but here's my two cents. I'm all for your utopia of creativity, Josh, but is it REALLY this neccessary to be so strict? Its a kids forum. And you're telling kids to be nicer to other kids or face the risk of being banned off an internet forum. Surely there has to be a far less-serious option here. Did you look at the threads I linked? And you call those KIDS?! Please... And of course I want people to be nicer. If you've nothing good to say, dont say it. And it's not just isolated there. Those are the ones I managed to link and used as examples. Brutality does not know age, it only knows punishment and they will be dealt with as they treat others.Umm yeah... Scare Tactic over >_>" lol. However I did learn this: - All members are expected to treat each other with equality. Meaning that no flaming or trolling will be tolerated. If you post against something, and may appear mean we ask you to at least back it up in kind so a person can learn from their mistakes. It won't be as militant, but watch your step. Those threads made me disgusted at all of you.Ooh and this thread is being taken down in preparation for a new event coming up real soon (next 2 days).
