Sheathing the Saber

Spell

Activate while you control 1 or more face-up "X-Saber" monster(s.) Draw 3 cards, then skip your Battle Phase this turn. You can only activate 1 "Sheathing the Saber" per turn.

Cheap Shot

Counter Trap

Activate when your opponent declares an attack on 1 face-up monster you control. Select 1 appropriate Equip Spell Card from your Deck and equip it to your battling monster. Remove the Equip Spell Card from play at the End Phase of this turn.

Sheathing the Saber seems overpowered. Two Pots of Greed are definitely worth far more than a skipped Battle Phase, especially since it can be used on the first turn of the duel when you don't have a Battle Phase anyhow.

Cheap Shot seems underpowered as it stands; there's basically no incentive to use it over something simple like Dimensional Prison, and Dimensional Prison requires less deck dedication and is less situational. At the very least, get rid of the part that removes the Equip at the end of the turn.

As Crustacean Brain said, too powerful. Suggestion above in italics.

Sabers don't use Equips Spells; but good try.

6/10.

Cheap Shot is interesting. It thins out your deck by a card, and it shifts battle in your favour. Plus, given that it it it's self doesn't target a card on the field, since it equips a monster and the equip card targets, that makes it really unique. plus it'll result in destruction by battle. Run with Vairons maybe?

Sheathing the Saber is a tad broken in my estimation. If you change it so that you have to control multiple Saber monsters, then it should probably be okay.
