This card cannot be Special Summoned. You can Tribute Summon this card using 1 "X-Saber" Monster as a Tribute. During battle between an "X-Saber" Monster you control and a Defence Position Monster whose DEF is less than the attacking monster's ATK, inflict the difference as Battle Damage to your opponent.

DEF/ 1200

Add 1 Level 4 or lower "X-Saber" Monster from your Deck to your hand.

 

Treasure of the Golden Sword

Normal Spell

Activate only while you control an "X-Saber" Monster. Discard 2 "X-Saber" Monster s with lower levels than the monster you control to draw 3 cards.

 

Decree of BUshido

Continuous Trap

Halve any Battle Damage you take from battles involving an "X-Saber" Monster. Each time an "X-Saber" Monster battles an opponent's monster, place 1 Saber Counter on this card (max. 3). During your Standby Phase, if you control no Monsters, you can send this card to the Graveyard to draw 1 card for every Saber Counter on it.

 

Thoughts?

But since they're for a fic... There doesn't seem to be any glaring problems.

Coulda fooled me. BW are waaaaaaay worse than X-Sabers in Canada.

Every other TCG region has 20+ Xabers in the top 32, and maybe 1 or 2 BWs. BWs are terrible in comparison right now, probably Tier 2.

Pretty much. They pretty much trash everything except Inferns, which they're on fairly even ground with. I put them both at T0.5, because Tiers have no strong definition anyway.

CBs have been tier 0 for the past 3 formats, questionably between tier 0 and 1 for a while before then.
