Welcome to my first ever Deck maker's contest.

The game is simple. Build a deck with real YGO, unless said otherwise in the contest based off the current theme and topic. The less meta the deck is the better. This contest is based of the following categories:

 

Quality: 10 points (Can it work for fun? Is it something you would like to use?)

 

Creativity : 45 points {The more you make the deck's theme work, the better. If it has good/new strategy that's nice. If it has ways of using cards in awesome ways that's even better. The more unknown the cards are, the better.}

 

Metaness/Creativity Part 2: 15 points (Lightsworns and Majestic/Stardust deck will get you a zero. You lose points if it's XX-Sabers & Blackwings. You can have some of these cards, but not the theme of this deck is centralized around these monsters.)

 

Deck name: 5 points

 

Guidelines: 25 points (Does it follow the requirements for the round)

 

Bonus: If you manage to win a duel against the person you are paired against using this deck & the both of you are using the deck, the winner receives a 10 point bonus.

 

The price of the contest is 200 points.

 

The winner will receive 1/4 of the total points entered and three reps.

I and Max Darkness are the judges. Another Judge May be added.

 

Each Round is held up in pairings between two members in a single elimination bracket.

 

A piece of Advice, the decks are subject to opinion of how good they are. Also just b/c a deck is smaller, doesn't mean its better.

 

Rules:

1. YOU MAY NOT USE A DECK THAT YOU HAVE FOUND OFF THE INTERNET. It'll be difficult to do this anyway, but if it is found out that you have done this, you're eliminated and may be negged.

2. You can show your decks to others for commentary, but not as a thread.

3. The rules are subject to change so check back often.

4. Unless the round's theme says so No Banned or Created cards.

5. If a round is posted early, you may prepare for it. Round end Dates may be extended or ended early if need be.

6. Submissions can be sent via PM or posted on here.

7. After a round concludes, an explanation of winners MAY Be posted. If you want to know why you didn't win, ask.

8. Don't SPAM. Trolling is bad for your health. Talk about YuGiOh or a topic that is approved while this tournament is open. Commentators be warned and appreciated. If you don't know what an approved topic is, unless its in General (Excluding Clubs), or I've said so, It is usually approved.

9. An explanation of what your deck does can be included. It will not give you any extra points.

10. Breaking any of these rules can result in being negged, losing points for a round, or being eliminated.

[spoiler=Round 1] Create a Deck that steals an opponent's monsters & can either protect your monsters or Special Summons Well. Zombie Decks be warned, you can lose points on creativity and metaness. Change of Heart and Snatch Steal Can be used, but only 1 of each.
