Max Darkness
Like it says. I made this after looking through some of the newer Pokemon cards and basing an effect on those. After a while, I came back to this and realised that the "Lightsworns" could easily use it...damn... (Name is a pun on the Japanese name for the "Assault Modes"; the "Slash Busters".) Effect: If this card was Tribute Summoned, each time an Equip Card is equipped to a monster, inflict damage to your opponent equal to that monster's Level x 100. In addition, when this card attacks, during the Damage Step you can send a number of cards from the top of your Deck to the Graveyard (max. 4) to have this card gain ATK and DEF equal to the number of cards sent x 500, until the end of the Battle Phase. EDIT: Level increased from Lv.5 to Lv.8 EDIT 2: Implied effect made explicit. EDIT 3: First effect changed slightly.

Sidepipe
I like it. A very good idea. OCG: One small "mistake":If this card was Tribute Summoned, each time your opponent equips a card to a monster, inflict damage to your opponent equal to that monster's Level x 100. In addition, when this card attacks, during the Damage Step you can send up to 4 cards from the top of your Deck to the Graveyard to have this card gain ATK and DEF equal to the number of cards sent x 500.OP'dness: Some, raise the level a bit. (My opinion would be 7/8 )Pic: Fine. Total: 9.8/10A very fine card you have made :)

If this attacked directly, and your opponent had nothing face-down, you could just mill eight or ten cards to ensure victory. yea higher level also drop it to 3 cards 4=2000 pay out he becomes a 4000 monster Yes, but you are then burning 4 cards. If I raise it to Level 7, then it would be a justified cost. So the consensus is an increase to Level 7 or 8?

Max Darkness
Is that not a limit? Apologies. Didn't see that. But I'm using "Psychic Commander's" lore, which uses a '(max. x)' limit.

St.Grot
You could keep the limit butmake it only till the end phase
O.B. Palomino
This card is like a HUGE "Card Trooper", but this one doesn't have the last effect of "Card Trooper". The lore of this card should be like this: "If this card was Tribute Summoned, each time a monster is equipped with an Equip Card, inflict damage to your opponent equal to that monster's Level x 100. In addition, when this card attacks, during the Damage Step you can send up to 4 cards from the top of your Deck to the Graveyard to have this card gain ATK and DEF equal to the number of cards sent x 500, until the End Phase." So this card can be used in a combo with Union monsters, don't you think?
Max Darkness
You could keep the limit butmake it only till the end phase The effect only lasts until the End Phase' date=' but because it is activated during the Damage Step, that's implied. Card changed to make the effect explicit. This card is like a HUGE "Card Trooper", but this one doesn't have the last effect of "Card Trooper". You know how idiotic you make yourself look like in this comment? He just made the card more playable, since the first effect relies soley on your opponent. And no, his fix will not make it "abusable". How would it make it "abusable" anyways? Srsly, I don't get why people are voting for you in the YCM Awards of July. Your cards are at best, medicore. Max Darkness
You know how idiotic you make yourself look like in this comment? He just made the card more playable' date=' since the first effect relies soley on your opponent. And no, his fix will not make it "abusable". How would it make it "abusable" anyways?[/quote'] The reason I said that was that I believe that effect would give this card too much power. Yes it would make it more playable, but it would, in my view, have to be balanced by a reduction of another effect, since it becomes a constant burn source, compared to one that your opponent controls by choosing either to take the damage or to restrict their Equip Card use. Would you say that the increase in power is justified or not? Or would I have to restrain part of the effect or introduce a new negative effect? Granted, this card started as a Level 5, so its effect might still be somewhere between there and Level 8. And if it is, then would the enhanced playability move it to two-tribute territory? In general, my cards tend to be on the underpowered side, since I usually balance very strong positive effects with restrictive summoning conditions or damaging negative effects. In this, the negative side is the low stats, which are made up for (partially) by the ATK-boosting effect. In my mind, that only left a small effect to balance it, hence why your opponent controls the that effect. I class 'abusable' as an effect that can be used to give a constant advantage, or one that can be easily activated repeatedly, with no real cost. That is why I said it was 'abusable'; since several Decks that would run this card would also have a few Equip Spells of their own ("Cestus of Dagla", "United We Stand" etc.) which would force your opponent to take the damage. And since this card's cost is its low stats, a few stalling cards could make this a good way of inflicting a fair amount of damage to your opponent. Max Darkness
Very well. Card updated. @ Windninja: It's an accidental side-effect of this card's last effect. The "Lightsworn" archetype focusses on heavily milling your own Deck in order to get enough monsters into the Graveyard to summon their trump monsters. This helps them by sending cards to power itself up.
