Discuss the most weird archetype and one of the only I know that except for a few cases have little to no synergy at all

 

also as an extra, discuss what we will never get:

Archfiends were first orginally an archtype.

They really looked promising, since they have build in protection that also protect other archfiends and also have an archtype-specific Snatch Steal and Call of the Haunted.

But now, Konami is just spewing the name all over the cards.

It's makes me quite sad really, even though they weren't that good.

Be glad we aren't getting Matador, since this game already has a cardpool with mostly useless trash.

ALSO New Archfiends should be all DARK monster with 0 DEF ....

Demon in OCG = Archfiend in TCG, I think. or some translation close to that.

So that's why we get stuff like Mad archfiend, Intercept Archfiend, etc.

But it's nice, like with RDA.

 

Anyway, as for being competitive, they do okay. I tried to make an Archfiend

deck with some synchro power, using Terrorking as the main monster, because

he can negate a lot of crap with both effects, and is easy to summon with things

like Stygian Street Patrol. It takes a lot to make them good, however. I think

they need less badly translated cards and more support like the original Chess

Set Archfiends.
