Zauls Posted July 19, 2010 Report Share Posted July 19, 2010 Basically, most of the top tier decks these days revolve around Synchros. They basically just Special Summon absolutely loads to create Synchro Material monsters and Tuner monsters so they can Synchro and take advantage of Synchros and their effects and beatdown loads for game. The prime example of this is Infernities, the best deck around right now, they can synchro up to 4 times a turn, taking advantage of cards like Mist Wurm to clear the field and attack for game. Zauls Posted July 19, 2010 Report Share Posted July 19, 2010 Post the Monarch one and the Red-Eyes one. Monarchs are still seeing much play (in fact, Caius is being considered godly this format) and Red-Eyes Darkness Metal Dragon is still staying strong, with Hopeless Dragon decks bringing up the bottom of the meta list. You could get some pretty good decks out of those. If you want 1 Synchro deck, and 1 anti-Synchro deck, then make your Hopeless Dragons the Synchro variant and run Oppression Monarchs (Monarchs that run Royal Oppression).
