Guess what. Your administrator bought you a new forum engine. One that probably costs between 50-200 dollars. One that doesn't have annoying MYSQL errors. One that cuts down on all the pointless drama we have here. People jabroniing about reps? Gone, it's all in posts, so you can clearly see if someone deserved that rep or not. People whining about name changes? Guess what, this forum lets you change your own name, limits it to once a month, AND has a name change history so people don't get confused.

 

And all you guys do is complain about how much you missed the old YCM.

 

Guess what, this still is the old YCM, because it still has the same f***ing retarded members, and those people are YOU.

 

The people who s*** themselves over everything the administrator does, because apparently you're not satisfied with a place to argue about cards you created on a piece of free software. No, you want a f***ing country. You want to be treated like citizens, not kids sitting at their computers. You want to have all your demands listened to. I guess people were just shocked to find that within a day or two, the whole thing changed and people were taken out of their comfort zones and, in the form of an analogy that most members would understand, 'moved school', so everything is different, people are getting lost and there's different 'rules' or features like you said; reps, points etc.

 

I must admit this new forum is getting better, but at first I was honestly just like "wtf, how do I work this thing?".

I admit. This may be pretty awesome. I may complain, but I have to admit it's good.

 

Only it's going to damage my eyesight now with all the blue. I thought I was saved by this forum when it was white and grey. Now my eyes hurt. I'm going to be wearing glasses soon unless I can get rid of the outmass of the blue background.

Try the IPBoard mobile skin on the skin selector. It's pretty plain but the blue is lighter.

Eh... You could calm down too, people are just being excited because it's all new, that's all. Not much pointless drama or whining compared to certain bans...

 

Personally I still liked the old rep system better because it was easy to see who gave you a rep and why. Now it's a bit hard because I have to go through all the posts and check back but again if we suggest it to YCMaker, maybe he might bring it back.

I think it's faster, but whatever, it might be because of the way this quickreply box works, with the MyBB one I never could tell sometimes it was fast, sometimes really freaking slow.
