Because apparently all of YCM craps itself every 5 minutes

I'm sure people are complaining because it's "different". Like I said in the other thread, life, has you get older, will also be different and that will take time getting used to. I'm sure in the next few weeks, everything will be sorted out. And then they will find out that this "new YCM" (even though, it's basically the same thing with a few new features) is better.

In my opinion anyway.

I admit even though it sorta isn't full operational, its best to think about the positives. *sigh* guess I have to get used to this...

Well the main example of not fully operational, is the issue the mods have with lack of powers. In fact Graphics doesn't have any 'local' mods at the moment.

Speed is the same, if not faster, that the one in the old YCM.

Just disable sigs/avatars, you'll be surprised.

For me, this one is really, really faster than the old one. Especially the last few days before the upgrade. If it does go slow, either the board is offline due to YCMaker making changes or to many members are whining because they don't like changes.

Nicely said.

Seriously, you guys are whining when YCM brings in a 200$ forum engine with practically NO errors? Especially since he's probably sick of YuGiOh, and he just made this during that time frame. He could close this site right now, if he wanted to, and stop paying the server fees.

So many people are ungrateful.

If this is supposed to be better and faster then why is it taking 3x the amount of time to load compared to the old forum? I'll agree that this forum might be more stable but in my opinion it comes with much more useless bullshit then the old ycm did.

But i'll agree that the removal of the rep system is a somewhat good idea. But even then i still beleive that the old rep system was better then the newer one.

But yah, points might have been useful in the begining but they were eventully reduced to who has the bigger e-penis contest.
