I can see disliking the homework part, but "hating" it altogether... that's horrible. Those of you who "hate" everything about school: I hope you know that you're not going anywhere in life, and life will suck for the rest of which you live it. For those that are happy that school is soon to start again: Good for you! Apply for scholarships and get your entire college paid for! Take that advice seriously and you'll become the figure of your dreams. I can say that from experience. But on the issue of homework, yeah I don't see the necessity of it. Not that there shouldn't be constructive reinforcement after school hours, but there are much strong, more productive ways of doing so... I mean, I hate the hw, test, exams, pop quiz and finals that I have to take but I really miss my friends. It's summer and I'm doing nothing. I actually feel useful at school and I tend to have fun (most of the times). this + this will be the last year with my current classmates, and I HATE them. I go online so I am able to make my own hours to do everything, but when I get done, I'm done. School only takes me about 2 hours. I love it! I'm looking forward to go back.
