That's only if you use the Curse. If you don't, they don't die, but the Ghost still does the battle thing.

It's creepy as f***.

It's the only way I can put it.

Thats the creepiest thing...but the question is...it says that in addition to Bulba Char and squirt, so...why cant you choose them, anyway, the real question is, why does ghost want to kill you?

There was a part I believe when he thought it was to show the always presence of death, and that you couldn't avoid it. Whatever it is, it's just too creepy for me.

I don't think I can ever look at Pokemon the same way ever again after reading these articles. Seriously...

Neither can I. It's just so... creepy.

the other creepy thing is how the music gets lower, and slower, and everything, but in a slightly more cheery mood, what would happen if you hacked the game to give the old man a one hit K.O attack, with 100% accuracy?

I don't know. The Ghost probably wouldn't be effected.

That's freaky. ._.

How can a simple message induce suicide?

My thesis(more of them, I can't find the plural) about the Mew story:

1. Mew is the primordial Pokemon, a.k.a. their origin.

2. Since Pokemon existed since the beginning of time in the Pokemon world, Mew should know everything that happened after Arceus "created the world" (which makes Arceus the only Pokemon who didn't come from Mew, and also makes Arceus God)

3. Mew can do everything (almost everything(omnipotency paradox)) meaning he knows the future.

4. He knows the horrifying future, close or far, and is still sane which points:

4a. He doesn't have Cassandra's Syndrome so

4b. He is somewhat evil because

4c. He doesn't care that the world is going to end (on my 15th birthday in 2012 :) )

5. He tell peoples the future

6. Telling the future drives people to insanity because they develop Cassandra' Syndrome

7. And the only way to escape the future is by performing suicide.

wow, I'm a 12 year old psychologist..

People come from all over to pay their respects to the spirits of Pokemon.- Guy outside of House of Memories in Heart gold and soul silver. I can almost imagine him being the old man from the black version if he never chose to go back to pallet town. that Red is a Many generations after Black.because you face red in soul silver and he is kinda a teen but in black it ends basically him being an old man in Lavender town that the story of soul silver connects to black is what i said that the old man in soul silver outside lavender town is the trainer from Black.

Im going to shorten it up for you

[spoiler=if you dare]A programer makes it so that if you walk into the grass in palet you can meet mew, he will tell you somthing so mindblowing you have to commit suicide, freaky s*** man

That honestly didn't scare me 0.o Probably because I don't have anything to do with Pokemon in the first place.

The Mew one isn't that scary. The Black Version I posted got to me more then that did.

And shortening it makes the effect diminished.

Actually the Mew one scared the f*** outta me. The Black one: I read it (I watched the whole video) and said, "Meh."

It's because the Black one is a hack. A man (or woman) created it in that intention, though their intentions were a bit disturbing. The fact that the Mew one induced suicide is what made me s*** bricks. And because of the Mew story: I am so glad that I've never had an interest in Pokemon.

It wouldn't work, no matter how bad the stuff it tells you is.

A 10-year-old boy would rather start crying and go to his mum, assuming he even understands the secret, instead of....swallowing his arm.

And did you notice how at the beginning it says "hundreds of children"? For me, 104 is closer to "one hundred children".

Also, it's interesting how it's written that the kids played 15 minutes and had one pokémon caught, when actually the process took this poor ex-officer about 5 minutes. And no kid would have watched a whole 10-minute-monologue of a strange thing appearing on their screen.

Also, you get your first pokemon after Oak stops you.

It said under 15 minutes, but that first pokemon thing does rais a point, but you dont get it, you dont know what the message is, its so mindblowing, they cant even thing besides escaping and comiting suicide
