If you look at Rinne's fanfic rules, he says avoid in-depth description like novels do. If you think about it DL, most readers of fanfics aren't too interested in the scenery. I know that doesn't go for anyone, but when people read DEF, they read it to see their characters do stuff and to see what wacky scenrario the Inactive will pull next. When I read KS and BTM, it's for the progression of characters and the battles. As long as you have some form of description, you're fine. I know I'll never be able to write like paragraphs of descriptions that are in novels But I can hardly make like 2-3 sentences to describe the sorroundings :/ DEF has TOO LITTLE description, IMO, KS has a bit too little.
