-Griffin
|Ghost Rook Archfiend||DARK/Fiend|Level 5|2100 ATK|1600 DEF||This card can be set without tribute. You can Special Summon this card while you control an "Archfiend" monster. You can only control 1 "Ghost Rook Archfiend". When your opponent activates a card effect, select 1 "Archfiend" monster you control, it is treated as targeting that monster for the effect of that monster.| The last effect just means that it will trigger the die-rolling effects, or the 1000-to-negate of Thought Ruler. .Nu-13
It's name is "Ghost Rook Archfiend". Text mentions "Nemesis Archfiend". Purposely or not? Link to comment
-Griffin
Thanks for catching the name change =p Link to comment
Bringerofcake
...select 1 "Archfiend" monster you control. That card effect is treated as targeting that monster instead.| Nitpicky, but the language is a tad clearer this way. But even without the changes, you could theoretically have Heavy Storm target an Archfiend. Or MST. "If a card effect targets a monster..." should fix that, I think. Link to comment

The point is that Heavy Storm now targets Archfiends. For the effect of the archfiend only. Re-read Chess archfiends, figure out why that's helpful =p Link to comment
Bringerofcake
No, I understand, I misread the effect and through my own interpretation thought that the effect was applied to the monster, as well as targetting it. Link to comment
-Griffin
Now that misunderstanding is out of the way, comments on the card as a whole? Link to comment
Bringerofcake
Certainly helps the Archfiends, but doesn't eliminate the semi-crippling effect of luck on the Archetype as a whole. Nice work. Link to comment
