TheMan
It's just an idea I had this morning. It can help with BEWD set, or something like that. It's easier this way then Tributing Kaiser Sea Horse. I think it could help. Credits: Wanderley This card cannot be Normal Summoned or Set. This card can only be Special Summoned from your hand by removing 1 face-up "Kaiser Sea Horse" from your side of the field out of play. Once per turn, you can Special Summon 1 Level 8 LIGHT monster from your hand or your Graveyard to your side of the field in face-up Attack Position. You cannot use this effect in the turn this card is Special Summoned.
CMRenji
Very good idea, but the card is too Overpowered. In my opinion you should give it a drawback because being able to summon 1 Lv 8 monster per turn is very OP'd. Still, this is pretty good for a new member. 9.2/
TheMan
Thanks. Maybe it would be better like "When you Special Summon a monster by this card's effect, you cannot Normal Summon this turn"??...or "Effect of the Special Summoned monster(s) are negated"?...but like I said, it's just an idea that was on my mind so I had to make this 1 :D
Rosuke
if you put the 2 effects it will be balanced, Very good to newbie to this forum great :D
Wielder of the Ankh
The original Kaiser Sea Horse reduced the number of tributes for LIGHT monsters to 1, perhaps this card could reduce it to 0? For example, you could say: while you control this card, you can Tribute Summon LIGHT monsters without Tribute(s).The wording is from http://yugioh.wikia.com/wiki/Mausoleum_of_the_EmperorThis change would reduce the power of the card like the previous comment suggested because its effect now takes up the one Normal Summon you have per turn, and you can no longer summon monsters from the Graveyard, thereby staying much more in line with the original card.Perhaps you could even compensate this weakening by allowing this card to be Special Summoned from the Graveyard if you remove Kaiser Sea Horse from play. Furthermore, its effect now helps with summoning LIGHT monsters other than just Level 8.Good OCG, picture, and idea. Balance never gets easy. Actor22295
i run a bewd deck and i think that this card would be great to have but i think that it needs a draw back to using its effect. other then that great card 9/
TheMan
Well, you don't have to use this effect during each of your turn, so that means you still have your Normal Summon. And this card is only for Special Summon Level 8 LIGHT monsters, not every LIGHT monster you have in your hand or Graveyard. I mean, if you compare this card to a Red Eyes Darkness Metal Dragon, REDMD is way to OP compared to this 1. But, if you guys say it's OP, than it's OP :). DeathSDelano
interesting card for a drawback you could use this This card cannot be Normal Summoned or Set. This card can only be Special Summoned from your handby removing 1 face-up "Kaiser Sea Horse" from your side of the field out of play. Once per turn, you canSpecial Summon 1 Level 8 LIGHT monster from your hand or your Graveyard to your side of the field inface-up Attack Position. The Summoned monster cannot attack and its effect is negated until the End Phase. You cannot use this effect in the turn this card is Special Summoned. or something like that 9/
dratinimew2
Good card idea with a decent effect. One thing i would add to make it less overpowered though is "this card can not attack during a turn this effect is activated" overall I rate it 9/
Zeppeli Gyro Supreme
This card cannot be Normal Summoned or Set. This card can only be Special Summoned from your hand by removing from play 1 face-up "Kaiser Sea Horse" on your side of the field. Once per turn, you may Special Summon 1 Level 8 LIGHT monster from your hand or your Graveyard in face-up Attack Position. This effect cannot be activated the turn this card was Summoned. There's an OCG fix for you. Really only some minor edits. It's a pretty good card, and the picture is really good too. Only thing I can complain about is that it doesn't follow the theme of Kaiser Seahorse. The point of it is supposed to be that "A seahorse eventually evolves into a dragon" from Japanese folklore, which is why it was Tributed to bring out Blue Eyes White Dragon (at the time, the epitome of Dragon-Type monsters). If it were more dragonlike it would make more sense for this.
Venom
Or think of it this way: to summon a Lv8 beast to the field drains the summoner monster of energy (so make his ATK or DEF lower). Another idea :
Zeppeli Gyro Supreme
I think it's not overpowered, considering the conditions of Summon, and that it can't be used on the first turn.
