-Griffin
I just had the best duel that has ever happened. Venoms vs Archfiends. I played Venoms, Icy played Archfiends. It was possibly the closest match I've had in a while. We battled over which field spell would stay on the field, and viciously held out to the last with Faders, Roars, Shrinks, Cyber Valleys, and a couple Gorz plays on my part. The second duel - the one I won - had Venom Boa as the star player. Yes, that 5 star 1600 ATK beater that can put out some counters. It tanked everything, protected by Roars, Shrinks and eventually sent away with an Offering to the Snake Deity. As awesome as all the cards there turned out to be, Venom Swamp is still the most discussable. It doesn't kill 0 ATK monsters, making it good with Fader, Valley, or others (I used Snowman Eater). It is also nice in anything running Spirits, especially Asura Priest which was a great card on two occasions in the match. In Venoms, it really managed to shine through by making Icy have to work to keep a monster for even a couple turns, and stalling amazingly by buffering almost 4000 damage overall. So, is this interesting tech if Spirits are ever there own viable Deck? Could some token-spam thing consider this? Or anything? It feels interesting, and I generally like it, so I'm interested if we can try and get some actual discussion and ideas other than "terrible, next." Oh, feel free to discus Venoms (not Vennoms) too, I guess.

Bringerofcake
The archetype needs more stuff. It should be the archetype expanded after STBL.
Flame Dragon
One of the prime examples of how archetypes are made. Try to support them in a few packs (here 1) and then act like they never existed. Really, the archetype has like 3/4 monster plus the two big ones. That is simply not enough. And then realize they existed and make more support in the 5Ds era because the anime isn't generating enough of a card pool.
