When was the last time any of you played the TCG? What would it take you to duel [Post 38]?

The last time I really dueled...wow. Probably a couple years ago before I lost my collection in a move. And even then dueling was limited. Mostly against friends and with casual play. Went to one tournament and decided to never do that again...Just no fun in doing lighting paced play.

As for my decks, my personal favorite was a deck with just about no order but good synergy. Ran a BLS:EotB before it got banned. That with Jinzo, Silent swordsmen, The Creator, and darkworlds. Like I said, no real order haha. But the deck was hella powerful even so. Another of course was the XYZ's. The red-eyes deck naturally. And if I ever felt like actually beating the crap out of someone without mercy, I just ran with an Atlantis deck.

My game collection hasn't been upgraded in ages. Still got WC 08 and Stairway to the destined duel. Damn shame my ps2 can't read my DotR...loved that one.

To start playing again...that'd take a bit, as seeing I'm not much of one to keep up with the meta. I personally like the game sprites. Adds a little spark to the game. Though dueling against a computer all the time gets boring. Either way, even if I ever play again or not, was a good past time for me. Yay for sounding old.

Hmmm. I think i stopped playing 3 years ago. I would still play, but I can't find anyone to duel. My deck was focused on NO TUNERS! I prefered the old cards, like Dark Magician, Blue-Eyes White dragon, Black Luster Soldier, ECT. I have been adding to it lately. In duels, the players would always complain I had too big of a deck. I always exploited the rule that said I had to have at LEAST 40 cards.

You know the other that says max 60, right?

And no successful Deck in the last few years, in my memory, had more than 45 - and only Gadgets had more than 42.

Yesterday. I use a deck bult on countering any strategy thrown at me. I also use Zombie, Dark, Light.

It was last night. An UD moderated round robin. I have two favourite decks. One spell/trap based deck with monsters who recycle cards, and a toon deck. Guess you could call me 'oldschool' but i got to second place last night using my spell/trap deck against my opponent using more modern cards/tactics.

For the record. It would be easy to get me to duel online as well, if I knew where to find something download free and on an easy to use format. Again, being a bit oldschool I can't be bothered with complications.

I have 35 or 36 decks. My strongest is a nearly complete Blackwing , Dark, Dark World, and Synchro. I duel most other day. Mostly against myself though. I summoned Rainbow Dragon once and lost to Destiny Board. Then Rainbow Dragon again and lost to a small effect damage card. I have had monsters with ATK like 8800+.

I tried online once and once i ran outta duel points i couldn't anymore so I stopped all together.

Last time I played with real cards? Must have been years ago, not long after GX started. Heven't even touched real 5D cards. But I do play online, and on my DS I have the good old Nightmare Troubadour game, running a Master Of Dragon Soldier deck with Dark Paladin in there aswell.

The last time I played a TCG...a few days ago with my younger brother. *I used a deck that has a combo of Dragons and Warriors [I just call it my Dragon Riders deck].* The winning card I used to end the duel...Dragon Master Knight.

*: I usually change my deck, every so often. Meaning its never the same deck I use.

Last time I dueled was right now on Tag Force 4. Surprizingly good game that lets you duel on the go, without risk of losing any cards. Plus it's pretty modern card wise, has a variety of sims with moderately skilled decks, and possible 4 player co-op. I mostly run a spell counter deck with endymion and arcanite, but my other ones include a Crystal Beast+Hamon strategy, A pyro/fire deck with Uria (no I don't like the sacred beasts, but uria's easy to summon with backfire), A dark/warrior deck, or an all dragon deck. I also have started dabbling with Psychic's but they tend to annoy me.

last weekend, with my mate, two games, first with a kind of mixed up deck (heaps of combos, more traps then spells) won that one.
then I pulled out my zombie deck focusing mainly around Zombie World, loads of ways to bring monsters back, lost that one though... just (for some reason we decided to start with 20,000 life points)

I duel all the time. I use a deck focusing on Fusion monsters that require Synchros as Fusion Material Monsters.
