I've been wondering for a while, and just want some quick answers.

If you're doing a Ritual Summon, and activate the Ritual Spell, supposing it gets negated by Dark Bribe, do you still Tribute monsters? Stupid question, yeah, but I don't play with Ritual Monsters much.

And, are cards like Grandmaster of the Six Samurai still considered a "Six Samurai" monster? Or is it just the few like Zanji, Irou, etc.?

Gateway of the Six. If I Summon a monster, but it gets Bottomless'd, etc., does it still have Counters added onto it?

I'll post if I have more small simple questions.

Not sure about the first one but I think you don't tribute because the ritual is negated

Yes, Grandmaster is a "Six Samurai" monster. Any monster with "Six Samurai" in it's name is considered a... Six Samurai

Yes it does because the monster is successfully summoned, then bottomlessed

No Ritual Tributes are not costs as far as I know.

Dark Jeroid is treated as a Roid monster xD Your Grand Master still has "Six Samurai" in its name so, yeah ;D

Yes, even if destroyed you still Summoned it and the Summon wasn't negated. It gains the Counters.

Q&A doesn't really give you proper YGO-related answers. Hence why I ask it directly in YGO TCG.

If you search your deck for any card, I'm assuming you must announce the card you fetch every time, correct?

And, if Perfect Herald attacks, you use D. Prison, it gets negated by Perfect Herald's effect, can you still activate anything? Or timing will have been passed by then?

Shien's effect. If somebody activates Book of Moon on him, does Shien still have his effect applied?

For my third question, I meant that my opponent activates Book of Moon on him, as the first S/T. Shien's effect applies before he gets flipped face-down, I'm assuming.

Does Cunning of the Six Samurai work as a quick recycle for Gateway of the Six's effect? Or you cannot Special Summon the monster you sent to the Graveyard?

Well, if that happens to be the case, then forgiven B)

Shien's effect is Continuous. If he is flipped face-down or removed from the field, then your opponent may continue to activate Spell/Trap cards.

Even though its worded poorly, "Sending 1 face-up 'Six Samurai' monster you control to the Graveyard" is a cost of activating Cunning (even though its worded as if it were an effect). In any case, you can Special Summon the same Six Samurai you sent to the Graveyard for the cost of activating "Cunning of the Six Samurai". Remember that you cannot activate "Cunning" unless there's at least 1 Six Samurai monster in your Graveyard before activating the card.
