evilfusion
Gets rid of Royal Decree, Royal Oppression, Skill Drain, or Call of the Haunted. Aside from those, I don't know too many Continuous Traps you'll come across. Being a level 4 tuner is nice, but it's a nomi tuner, so it's not really worth it. TMD (Barushi)
Mask of Restrict, Iron Wall, Macro Cosmos, Anti-Spell Fragrance, Gravity Bind, The Morphtronic version of Gravity Bind (Forgot it's name), Limit Reverse, and a lot of others.. Tickle Me Emo
Was always sided when it first came out because of the heavily relied upon graveyard and special summons at the time. I doubt its gonna be sided much next format.
evilfusion
You can't use Trap Eater on Macro because Macro prevents cards from being sent to the graveyard, even if you would try to get of Macro itself. There's plenty of cards Trap Eater COULD work on, but not enough of them are played, to my knowledge, to warrant adding this to your deck.
Tickle Me Emo
O.O you cant Trap Eater Macro??? O.O When did this happen?
evilfusion
Always. It's in the rulings. Trap Eater can't fulfill the summoning condition of sending a faceup Trap to the Graveyard because Macro does not allow cards to be sent to the graveyard, instead RFGing them. evilfusion
If something is preventing you from fulfilling a summoning or activation requirement, you can't Summon or Activate it, even if by doing so, you'd be rid of the condition preventing it. You can't remove Koaki Meiru Drago to SS Red-Eyes Darkness Metal Dragon because Drago prevents a LIGHT or DARK monster from being Special Summoned. Imperial Iron Wall stops you from summoning a Sin monster because you can't remove cards from play. By similar logic, Macro prevents cards from going to the graveyard, so you can't send a Faceup Trap to the Graveyard because you're preemptively prevented from putting the card into the graveyard, thus preventing you from fulfilling the Summoning condition. Dr. Cakey
If it could be summoned by sending a Continuous Trap on your own field as well, then it might be decent. Jack should probably stop maining this.
D.3.S. X
It's ok, but like everyone said, it only works on continuous traps. Could it be sidecked?

Could it be sidecked? [/quote] Yes, IMO. It's a powerful LV4 tuner that takes out Decree. Only useful if your opponent is maining Decree though, so it should be sided with caution. TheTurtleOnceCalledGod
Would be very good if it weren't a nomi. Because it is, I wouldn't run it.
TMD (Barushi)
Herald decks run Royal Decree right? It could be a side against them. That sucks though that it can't get rid of Macro.. Stupid, stupid, card.
