When this card on the field is destroyed and sent to the Graveyard, you can add 1 "Machine Emperor" monster from your Deck to your hand. look closely at the bottom. its the place where the WRGP takes place. infact, it almost looks like the spot where Jose and Lucannio pick up Placido's..... er.... remains? after losing to Yusei and Shooting Star Dragon. disc. This just makes them less vulnerable to Synchros like Brionac, Mist Wurm, etc. Except Brionac would bounce this and then the Machine Emperor. It seems so fitting with how the Machine Emperors are portrayed in the anime: Disturbingly powerful monsters that are truly terrifying because everyone uses Synchro monsters as their ace cards. The anime ones can just keep getting stronger with their upgraded parts, so at least these (Grannel is so broke) have set effects, while mostly holding true to their anime incarnations. I'm very pleased how they handled the Machine Emperors. Now people who hate Synchros and think they're the worst advancement ever for the game can emulate the Yliaster Emperors by using a Synchro Killer deck that might actually be playable!
