Card Lore

1 Tuner + 1 or more non-Tuner monsters
If this card battles a non-Dark Monster, destroy that monster without applying damage calculation.

This is probably the only good Ally of Justice monster...

Discuss this card if you want, if there's anything to say about it.

I find this card to be terribly broken. It forces players to play more dark monsters to get over this thing. All it is doing is supporting the play of an overly supported type that already has 14 counterparts to other mostly widely played cards, having most counterparts being extremely good. Our most obvious epic dark counterparts: Dark Armed Dragon, Dark End Dragon, Dark Grepher, Darklord Zerato, etc. It seems Konami just wants this game to be played using only dark monsters and nothing else. Until this card is banned I like having monster destruction cards that are obviously broken such as Dark Hole, Judgment Dragon, etc, allowed in the meta.

It doesn't force people to play DARK monsters. The alternative is to use more destruction effects, Effect negators, Stardust Dragon, or cards like Book of Moon. Or run something that can't be destroyed by card effects. On the bright side, it'll deal 0 damage even if it has more ATK than a non-Dark.

I don't think it's broken, but it's definitely OPed. I rarely see the thing survive more than a turn or two. Its effect only works against faceup monsters or if it itself is faceup. There are just a ton of counters and methods to get over it that makes it somewhat of a non-issue.

If a card is OPed it is broken and therefore banworthy and should be banned unless it offers a benefit to the game that it couldn't offer if banned.

Reminds me of Boost Guardian from Metroid Prime 2. Well, it has it's shape, it's a DARK, and it has a destructive ability. This card is already good on it's own, plus cards like DNA Transplant are good to use if your opponent runs a Deck with Primarily DARK monsters.

It's the best level 5 synchro, and it's generic....

When you get it out, unless your opponent has darks, this thing wins in battle. Even on your opponents turn they are scarred to attack it.

However, this is not bannable at all. Nobody has really considered this a threat due to all of the remove/destruction cards that exist today. Plus, it only has 2200 ATK, which alot of things can run over.

Here is a great quote I learned from Crab Helmet just after Dark Armed Dragon came out. i said "But it is so easy to kill. For example you can Bottomless it!"
Counterability does not effect playability. Just because something CAN be stopped doesnt mean it is not broken.
I may have paraphrased but thats basically what he told me.
