I got really busy with school and also got out of playing YGO for a while but I'm back. Being out for so long has thrown me out of wack as I have no idea what's come out and what's being anticipated, what's some of the stuff a guy getting back into YGO should know? I've read up on the banlist so no need to fill me in on that, but maybe the reasoning behind some of it like Dark Hole and Monster Reborn being unbanned. In any case, since you haven't played in the new format yet, after a while you'll notice that people now have large backrows and that Dark Hole is... just another removal card, really. [/quote] True, so so true, one of my friends runs a fantastic burn deck, it's annoying to say the least. Topping Reborn for game is almost as bad as topping Brain Control for game. Debris Decks are good, with 3 BRD available. [/quote] Let me think. It's Konami. Enough said. They killed 2 splashable banworthy cards and replaced them with 2 more splashable banworthy cards. Basically, a full circle of stupidity. Now people can set big backrows without any real fear of retribution since Heavy Storm is gone, Dark Hole is the same senseless mass monster removal it's always been and Monster Reborn's the new Brain Control. MST to 2 is nice though and from a player's perspective, 3 Cyber Dragons are nice and make a difference over the 2 that we were limited to running last format. Chaos Sorcerer is also back up to 2 and Goblin Zombie is back where it belongs so Konami made some semi-good decisions but not enough to outweigh the bad ones they made.
