Hello, and welcome to Yankee's Top 10.
Here, I shall show my top ten card makers on YCM right now.
I thought it would be nice to bring some competition to CC, and see if any of you can make my top ten. Who knows? Maybe one of you can earn the top spot ;)


I shall take into account past success, present ability, and many other factors. I am a VERY tough rater, and as such, you should not expect anything close to even 8.5/10.
Frankly, a 6/10 is, even to many greats, such as Browarod, is a good overall rate.

0 - 1 = Bad. Not worth my time. Simple as that

2 - 3 = Your typical card maker in CC anymore. Rather depressing overall, still.

4 - 5 = Average for members that have been around as long as Icy, Browarod, and myself have. Overall, pretty good rating.

6 - 7 = Great. Much better than just about everybody here.

8 = One of the best on the site. Almost nobody will get higher than this.

9 = We'll get to that when it comes.

10 = I can pretty much guarantee that nobody will get this. Ever.


So, without further ado, my top ten.

[b]10[/b] ~Jay~ - 5.1 [b]I was surprised by some of her cards, and obsession with Synchros. Overall, pretty average, but seems to have potential.[/b]
[b]9.[/b] -Griffin - 5.7 [b]Great idealist. Great for written cards. I'd like to see how he would do with pictures, but it doesn't matter. Sometimes, he has issues, but overall good[/b]
[b]8.[/b] God GAK - 5.9 [b]It's been a long time, but GAK has proven that he deserves to be here, being at one time the best on the site. Times have changed, but he's still a great measuring stick.[/b]
[b]7.[/b] X-L Bandit Kieth - 6.3 [b]Been a great card maker the whole time I've known him. Consistent, smart, and original. A overall good card maker.[/b]
[b]6.[/b] Essence 6.5 [b]Was one of my students; the best actually. She has learned a lot, and has grown into her own. Great in all aspects of card making.[/b]
[b]5.[/b] J-Max - 6.7 [b]A legend here, known for his pictures, people would surprised at some of the great effects he's posted. He's been dropping swiftly, however. Hopefully, he'll pick it up.[/b]
[b]4.[/b] God Kaze - 7.3 [b]One of the true catalysts of YCM. Great card makers are measured against him. Very few have passed him on my list. Great pics, effects, ideas, everything.[/b]
[b]3.[/b] Browarod - 7.8 [b]Can be thought of by many as the best on the site. Great in most phases of the game, he's been a great force here for a long time.[/b]
[b]2.[/b] Icyblue - 8 [b]The best active card maker I see. Constantly coming with great ideas, and great effects. As with everybody on this list, he suffers his faults in card making at times, but he has been easily the most consistent.[/b]
[b]1.[/b] DJ Osiris - 8.3 [b]Simply the best I've seen. As with everybody else, he suffers his faults in judgement, but he has been such a force in card making for a long time now. Back in 08, it was a battle the entire year between the two of use for best on ycm. I truly was happy to have a rival like him.[/b]

Maybe. But this wants me to make more newer powerful cards. With school, I doubt all have the time, but this wants me to make something...new.

Lets just hope this doesn't become a trend (top 10s everywhere), cause that would become tiring, so I hope this doesn't happen except everyonce in a while.

Considering a lot of them have a hand in everyday cardmaking that you use (Myself, Browarod, Kaze etc); and you don't even know it. That has to count for something yes?

As Smesh said, this is highly a matter of opinion... and I extremely disagree with this list (which is not possible, because it's your list... I made my homeworks :P). Some of them I don't know... probably because I'm only 2 months in, but in this time, I either missed every single post of them or they are just non-existant. And card makers in a list such as this should at least be active, imo. Some of them... let's just say they might make cards that fit in the TCG, with good pictures, OCG and are balanced... maybe it's just me, but I found those to be pretty boring most of the time. Though J-Max, Icy, Essence and Lovely deserve their spots on this list for sure (maybe not in that order, debateable).
I'd like to see LiAM or Lexadin on this list, in my humble opinion as a horrible realistic card maker... but it's still your list, and you can put in whoever you want :D

Question @ You (Yankee): How often will this be updated? Just curious...
