Manjoume Thunder
So good at 3 it is not even funny. The "high cost" argument is dumb. You will not draw and use all 3 unless you have some ridiculous amount of deck thinning (and if you do you will run 1-2 copies.) Opening with this card can win you the game (much like Solemn Judgment during the DSF and TeleDAD Formats) and running 3 means that you will open with it a lot of times. (It would be nice if someone can post percentages.)
darkwolf777
There are people complaining about using this card? Really? The only people I can understand complaints from are the ones who are on the receiving end of this card.
Superdoopertrooper
The high cost is not to be overlooked, as it can make it a complete dud draw if you have less than 2000 LP in the mid to late game. With so much special summoning in today's meta, stopping just 1 of those summons can often be futile. Reborn, call and all the other built in summoning effects overwhelm it a little from what my experience has shown. When the format slows down a little more, then it will be much more important. The fact that it is a counter trap is important, as trap stun (which is running circles around other commonly played traps) cannot be chained to it. The ability to negate a normal summon as well is actually the thing I think is best about this card. Overall, it is a good card, but falls very short of an old favourite: Royal Oppression. Also Family Friendly
One of the best cards @3. Probably the best.
Sephiroth_The_Legend
worth the money to buy. well worth. 2 or 3 of this is staple in most current decks.
Buttercup
It's really good. One of the reasons why people sometimes play Trap Stun instead of waiting to chain it. Often incredibly dead in the late game, but still a staple in all decks at 1. It should definitely be played in multiples in Glads.
Canadian
Knowing Konami, they'll put this to one to be friends with Judgement.
Just Crouton
If you're good at the game, your Life Points won't be low enough to be a concern when playing Solemn Warning.
BDKMRV
It's a Counter Trap Oppression. That's about it.
Manjoume Thunder
Why do people say that this is a "mini oppression", "counter trap oppression", etc ... ? When was the last time you used Royal Oppression to get rid of a Monarch?

darkwolf777
That or they don't notice that it can negate a Normal/Flip Summon as well.
Expelsword
Solemn Judgement can always be paid... i cannot tell you how many times I was below 800 LP and topdecked an (if I could use it) game winning Brain Control
Darkest Hour
The dead-drawness of this card at the endgame is what balances it out. The art is way better than Judgment's, even better than the non-edited Japanese artwork.
The ReBeL
if you dont run this then run hron of heaven. Quickdraw warrior can use this well and in glads.
Darkest Hour
After reading this card I realize it cannot negate Spell and Trap cards except for the ones that summon monsters. Am I reading it correctly?
darkwolf777
After reading this card I realize it cannot negate Spell and Trap cards except for the ones that summon monsters. Am I reading it correctly?
Correct. It either negates a summon or it negates a card whose effect Special Summons. Its similar to Royal Oppression, except that this card can negate Normal and Flip Summons too (and of course being Spell Speed 3, giving it usability during the Damage Step). TheTurtleOnceCalledGod
Good balanced card, deserves to be used at 3, stay at 3 in the banlist, and overall is one of their good recent cards.

HaouJudai
[s]I don't think it should be ran @ 3 - I'd say run it at 2 with your solemn judgment. When you clown around and run triples of cards and you turn in your decklists to TrollNami at events then they take notice of the abuse see burial from a different dimension pre March 2010 format. Keep running this and POD at 3 guys and you're practically demanding that konami hit it. I think I'll bookmark this post and save a couple of decklists after atlanta and philly to necrobump this for the lolz.[/s] Wait no no no - strike that - PLEASE run this and POD in 3's - they won't be hit guys - trust me - really - no go ahead. It's best for the game. really.
