Zextra
Hello, everyone. Here is another Pop Culture Card I finished a few minutes ago. I know the OCG is pretty bad, so I'll need some help on that. However, I will appreciate any comments and suggestions you give. Thanks a lot! Lore: 1 DARK Tuner + 1 or more non-Tuner monsters When this card is successfully Synchro Summoned, you can remove from play up to 2 DARK monsters from your Hand or Extra Deck. This card's ATK is equal to the total Levels of the monsters removed this way x200. When this card battles with a LIGHT monster, halve its ATK. You can remove from play 2 DARK monsters in your Graveyard to negate the effect of a card that targets or destroys a DARK monster you control. When this card destroys a monster by battle, you can Special Summon a "Horrid Nightmare Stalker Token" (Zombie-Type/DARK/Level 10/ATK 0/DEF 0) in face-up Defense Position. Once per turn, during your Main Phase, you can equip a "Horrid Nightmare Stalker Token" you control to a monster your opponent controls. The equipped monster cannot change its Battle Position, and cannot be destroyed in battle. During each of your opponent's Standby Phases, decrease the equipped monster's ATK by 500. When a monster's ATK becomes 0 by this effect, destroy it and inflict damage to your opponent's Life Points equal to the Level of the destroyed monster x200. During each of your End Phases, remove from play a DARK monster in your Hand or send 2 DARK monsters in your Deck to the Graveyard. If you cannot, remove from play this card and take damage equal to the number of DARK monsters in your Graveyard x200.
Blake
Lore: 1 DARK Tuner + 1 or more non-Tuner monsters When this card is successfully Synchro Summoned, you can remove from play up to 2 DARK monsters from your Hand or Extra Deck. This card's ATK is equal to the total Levels of the monsters removed this way x200. So... Max 400? Pretty weak. When this card battles with a LIGHT monster, halve its ATK. So, now it's 200? WeakER. You can remove from play 2 DARK monsters in your Graveyard to negate the effect of a card that targets or destroys a DARK monster you control. Naturia on crack, anyone? When this card destroys a monster by battle, you can Special Summon a "Horrid Nightmare Stalker Token" (Zombie-Type/DARK/Level 10/ATK 0/DEF 0) in face-up Defense Position. Somehow, I see that a Lv. 10 token would be abused very easily... Once per turn, during your Main Phase, you can equip a "Horrid Nightmare Stalker Token" you control to a monster your opponent controls. The equipped monster cannot attack, change its Battle Position, be used as Synchro Material for a Synchro Summon, and cannot be destroyed in battle. ... So, it can only be tributed or destroyed by effects? Even with that, I don't think you can equip tokens, at all, and it is just too constricting for something you get everytime a monster is destroyed by this card. Granted, this card only HAS 400 ATK, but I'm sure that was an error in making the card. During each of your opponent's Standby Phases, decrease the equipped monster's ATK by 500. Insult to injury? Now this really makes the tokens too much. It gives you something to beat on, repeatedly, almost a direct shot at their life points. When a monster's ATK becomes 0 by this effect, destroy it and inflict damage to your opponent's Life Points equal to the Level of the destroyed monster x200. Oh, ok, this makes the last part a bit better. Still, you screw them over, and then, within 6 turns usually, you hit them over with this? After tons of LP abuse? While your opponent controls 3 or more monsters that are equipped with a "Horrid Nightmare Stalker Token", you can send this card to the Graveyard to destroy all face-up monsters your opponent controls. Unneeded effect is Unneeded During each of your End Phases, remove from play a DARK monster in your Hand or send 2 DARK monsters in your Deck to the Graveyard. If you cannot, remove from play this card and take damage equal to the number of DARK monsters in your Graveyard x200. ... Somehow, this is a weird sort of semi-balance for the card. Not enough, though. Won't really effect you until the end of the duel.
In the end, it has WAY too many effects. It's rather OP. I see a few OCG errors, but noting major.... Also, Tributed is becoming Released... yeah... Stupid term change is stupid. 6/
Zextra
Thanks for the comment. I will work on making it more balanced later. However, the effect states the total Levels of the monsters used for it's ATK, not the number of monsters itself. Still, I appreciate your help.
