This once a year deal in which I, ♥Łövëły Ċ.Ċ♥, will open up this new seasonal project called YCM Halloween Horror Nights! It will be opened every October 1 through October 31. There will be new Halloween Cards, Games, and Contests. There are 3 sections of YCM Halloween Horror Nights.

[b]Section 1:[/b] [b][u]Hall of Horror Cards[/b][/u]
This section is the “Haunted House” of the Horror Nights. It is home to the monsters of YCM Halloween Horror Night. I have selected a few members to support this section. I will also be posting my own cards as well.

[b]Section 2:[/b] [b][u]Hall of Frightening Fun[/b][/u]
This section is the “Board Walk” of the Horror Nights. It is home to the games and quizzes that will be provided for the viewers. I am open for suggestions but only through PM. Posted suggestions will be ignored. You can post anything on the game/quiz in this post in the thread if you wish though.

This section is just a fun little addition to the Halloween theme. There will be contests for the Most Festive, Most Frightening, Best Costume, etc. Contests dealing with cards will be handled in the CC section.

There'd be days and days of cleaning and unpacking, then of course, there was the months of adjustments at our new school. It was never easy being the new kids. My Dad told my sister and me to “cheer up” and go check out the cool tree house in the backyard of our new house. It was a big yard with lots of thick grass and patches of flowers here and there. Way in the back there was a huge oak tree. Its branches were thick and sprawling, and its cover of leaves created a large circle of shade in what was otherwise a very bright area. As we approached and looked up, there it was -- the treehouse. My sister’s expression quickly changed from sunny to sullen, as we gazed upon the most dilapidated and rickety old treehouse you could ever imagine. And there seemed to be something inside ...

One of my favorite things about summer was the arrival of the ice cream man. You could count on him like clockwork. As soon as the days got longer, and the temperatures rose in early June, you’d hear that familiar jingle that seemed to come from a dream, and end up right in front of your door. So as I sat on my porch that first day on summer waiting to hear the familiar chime of the ice cream bells, I was a bit startled by the sight that arrived almost stealthily in front of my house. It was a black van with the letters I and C painted on the side, and it didn’t make a sound. It just sat there with the motor running. Through the window I could see the shadow of a driver, his eyes glowing a pale white, hair crazy and wild, sticking up this way and that. Suddenly, a hand popped out of the door holding a single ice cream cone dripping and melting chocolate goo all over his strange looking arm...

Sleep over camp. The three most hated words in my vocabulary. I couldn’t believe my parents were going to send me to Camp Yucka Caca again! No matter how much I told them about the moldy cabin beds, and the slimy lake, or how the food tasted like damp carpet, they still insisted that the camp experience was good for me. “You need the fresh air!” mom would say. “I went there for 6 consecutive years as a boy!” my dad would say (though each time he’d add another year to the count). “I bet they didn’t have as many bugs, and rodents, and snakes around when you went there,” I’d reply. Even though I’d never really seen any snakes, I thought that it might freak my mother out enough to make her change her mind. She was almost as afraid of snakes as I was. “If there were snakes, they wouldn’t let kids into the camp, I’m sure of it,” she said. But boy, was she wrong this year...

I was so excited when my parents told me that they were taking us on a two week beach vacation this summer. I patiently crossed the days off on my calendar, and had my bags packed two weeks in advance. My mom gave me all of these brochures to look at of the resort we were headed for – Yracs Island . It was supposed to be very exclusive and fancy, with beautiful hotels and gourmet restaurants. Each glossy photo featured cheerful families in swim suits, lounging and playing on the beach, enjoying activities by a beautiful pool, or laughing and smiling at dinner tables, their faces tanned to perfection. It seemed like paradise. Until we got there …
