No need to get all worked up. Oh, and Byakk, if your sig is true, which I doubt, that is....so unimpressive. Duel yourself to a stalemate and then run your mouth off.

It's called a joke.

Not to say that you suck, but there are times when I have really kicked my own behind! Not kidding. Hit me up if your wanna know an accurate way to test decks.

I suppose that would explain your disrespectful as heck title then. Oh and something else your forgetting, not that it really means that much now but you forgot to put in how much it would cost to make or buy a deck.

Explain how I don't know what im talking about. Okay, here's it in a nutshell. With Jinzo as my example pertaining to using the effect of Witch of The Black Forest: The witch's effect allows you to put Jinzo in your hand even if hes at the bottom of your Deck. Then ya'd shuffle your deck. Jinzo was overpowered as heck when he appeared for the first time on the show. I mean a lvl 6 monster with the Attack strength of the Red Eyes Black Dragon? Unheard of at the time. And it negates Traps? You must be cheating! Which brings me to my point: WHEN JINZO WAS FIRST RELEASED, it was OVERPOWERED FOR A CARD OF ITS LEVEL AT THAT TIME IN THE GAME. Way too easy to summon, and it has an equip card too? OVER-POWERED! It was because a lot of cards became similar to Jinzo,i.e. over 2000 Atk, lvl 6 or lower, worked with the witchs effect, etc. that the witch became illegal for a time. Put that in your duel disk and play it! Done.

It seems I need to explain how I test Decks. I pick two decks and play them against each other like I dont know what I put in them.(Like you would if you played me for the first time cause you wouldent know). Everybody caught up? OK. Now, in doing this I have created two Decks that can duel each other to a stalemate. Which is hard because if I played like I knew what was in them( which I do know whats in them, but I attack anyway to test the effectiveness of different Decks against different cards) this would be impossible. So essentially, I have made two decks that, if you played them against each other and were dueling for the first time WITH those decks, you would have a stalemate in a match situation. Or a very close match.

Do I need to spell it out? You dont have anywhere in your guide that such and such a card may become illegal. Since you Duel so well you should be able to predict this. I mean at least warn people before you suggest a strategy containing cards that are near the "illegal threshold". Cause otherwise what you are suggesting may not be a viable option in a tournament Deck. With Decks made for fun it doesn't matter.

Make your own thread about your life's story and stay on topic in this one.

OT: Would you like more contributions to the specific deck guides?

you should read the posts saying that the examples don't matter, but the concepts do.

Joaquin says (10:22 PM):
*I'm not suggesting specific cards to put in your decks
*again, I'm explaining card theory
*will citing examples using the presept format
Joaquin says (10:23 PM):
*it's the player's job to figure out what cards should be played

My point becomes this. If ya let people look at this guide, and their like "OOH I WANNA TRY THAT STRATEGY"! Whats the point if all the cards become illegal by the time the person can use them in a tournament? You should be able to look at an effect of a card and be" thats a little too strong". Yea you cant predict it but you can at least have a good sense of what will become illegal. Basement guy this is for you: Who will give a crap is the guy whose trump card is ruined by a strategy that is way too cheap to begin with!

All I was explaining is how I test Decks. Calm down, Mr. Strict! I should at least be allowed to defend my relevance to the topic.
But what you're saying is irrelevant.
This is card theory.

Joaquin says (10:29 PM):
*testing decks wasn't part of this discussion
Joaquin says (10:30 PM):
*tell him to talk about it elsewhere
*and to ask the mods to clean the topic please
*although
*in my guide I do talk about it
*but it's more to do with statistics

Also, people can just post links to their deck guides here and I'll update the first post.

Not so about the player' job. Think about it. Its more a deckbuilders job since you build the crazy thing in the first place!

After a quick skim, the guide seems alright. Never knew that YCM had a few guides of their own, then again, those guides being only of Gladiator Beasts and Infernities. I'd really really really REALLY liked a Chaos Guide. I don't give a damn if it's not an archetype, I'd volunteer to make a Guide for it just because Chaos is the shiz.
