Doom_Shaman
solemn warning is a standerd metagame staple for the destruction of mainly synchro monsters, so why on earth does no one a black horn of heaven?
evilfusion
There are several reasons. -Black Horn of Heaven stops only Special Summons. Solemn Warning stops Special Summons, Flip Summons, and Normal Summons, plus Spells, Traps, or Monster Effects that Special Summon. -Like Solemn Judgment, Black Horn of Heaven cannot be used against Summons produced by another card's resolution, so it cannot stop Gorz, Call of the Haunted, Monster Reborn, Gravekeeper's Spy, and so on. Solemn Warning can.
~British Soul~
even though solemn warning requires a cost it is much better, and more versatile than BHoH
