He summoned a three star monster with great defense, and his next turn summoned a higher star monster and won the duel. It also has its downsides. Once you use the effect next turn you opponent can summon a monster(lets say he already has two on the field) then he attacks both of your monsters and kills them leaving you wide open the next turn. [/quote] I meant that it made no sense. If you didn't use Trident in the sitaution you put as a downside, you would be directly attacked. The "downside" you wrote was actually a plus of this card. Limiting it's targets is a draw-back, but if you're already running a decent amount of Level 3s worth Summoning with this, it seems good. Aren't some of the True SS Level 3? And have their own RotA? Time Psyduck Posted November 1, 2010 Report Share Posted November 1, 2010 Except that unless you have another monster already out you can't summon Stardust using Marauding Captain, since you can only have 3 levels on the captain and at most 4 on the Tuner. Trident Warrior can because they made Delta Flyer to combo for a level 8 synchro, but then they bottomless this first. Captain probably wins unless you use a lot of level 3's or need a beatstick.
