I need some ideas for a new haircut.
So post images or sites you find/know of with cool styles.
Can also discuss the styles, how to keep a mohawk up, the bands if recognized.
Here are some images I've found:

All those hair styles are fugly as sin.
Agreed. And most of them make you look like Bart Simpson. If I had to pick one it'd be fringe, because then you can actually put it into a more presentable hairstyle.

So now the banter about how these suck is out the way.

Any pictures or useful sites I could have a look at?

As was already said, if these are choices of hairstyles you wanted go ahead and go with them. You probably had some reason for choosing them for your first post. Don't let the annals of the internets change your opinion. On an unrelated note, out of the ones you choose, the fringe would be best because you could probably style it into less stupid when it's time to for a job interview or a date.

Job interviews I agree are odd issues, but as long as the style is 'formal' i.e. short mohawk (no colours) or fringe.

Dates aren't a problem. If they don't like my hair, they definitely wont like me or my music taste.

I'm assuming colors are fine, as long as it's not some rainbow fashion and makes you look terrible. Otherwise it remains in good taste.
If your date doesn't like your hair doesn't mean they don't like you. =/... lol. And Music isn't everything v_v"; just keep that damn thing in your earphones.

Music is a big part of my life as much as anime is part of someone else's.
I do other things, but a good common interest in music will help a relationship in the long run.

It doesn't. Even Marisa's Costume Dress-Up thing is just a hobby. A big hobby, not a big part. Materialistic humans...

I spend most of my day listening to it, and have even contemplated creating a band to further indulge myself.

Still not a big part. While it is a contributing factor in possibly your mood and mentality, there are other things that weigh themselves so heavily it makes such things insignificant in comparison. And irrelevant to mention outside of personal interests.

I wouldn't call a mohawk something formal for a job interview unless you were applying for cashier at Hot Topic or something. I think even McDonald's burger flippers have some standards for hair. <_<

This is precisely the reason I am much less inclined to tell you the kind of hair I find attractive on a male.

Hard to say, it depends on the shape of the face, skintone and everything. Mohawks are mostly styled for the occasion, some people really wear the cut all the time but I know some who have an...average cut, I'd say? - and when they go out they just put the hair together. Takes times though.

You know, music is a big part of my life as well, I listen to some things, dress this or that way but there are a lot of other factors.
I love how bands within a certain music style try to be all focussed on having a look that "fits" to their image and their fans? Follow it as well x3 (in fact I'm hating all the Amon Amarth and Rammstein clones in my country, I can't recognize them  ). Stephan Groth can pull the fringe style off, others can't, deal with it.x3

I'd say pick a few pictures that you like and that you think would work with your face, then bring it to the hairdressers, they should be able to find out what works best for you. Also think about other factors like job choice.

Yeah I agree, everyone dresses to their music taste, if they're into music that is.
But Rammstein clones D: No one likes Rammstein any more in England >XD

I'm going to have to find a job that would be stretched on hair choices. I can't understand why they turn you away anyway, UNLESS, you're dealing with customers upfront or become a representative.

The main hawk I was drawn to was the final image in the first post. The one with the skull face paint.
But might be tempted to keep it 'normal' and try Gothminister.

Good industrial metal band too.

I know I'm new here or whatever, but to me that makes no difference whatsoever so I won't alter my opinion to suit others.

I say; go for a nice Faux Hawk if you really want to go for a Mohawk type look, that way you can walk about being all chill, getting some attention but not too much. Also this type of Faux Hawk suits many face types and shapes: http://www.google.co.uk/imgres?imgurl=http://4.bp.blogspot.com/_XAePxwGya7E/SG5OiWwe92I/AAAAAAAABNY/WcdMSuBf4ag/s400/joehawk.jpg&imgrefurl=http://choosing-hairstyle.blogspot.com/2008_11_01_archive.html&usg=__eqoNnLpWLoRcXMLlAp25l3jCrog=&h=327&w=319&sz=33&hl=en&start=24&zoom=1&tbnid=6ObHKQ5IrdyNWM:&tbnh=122&tbnw=120&prev=/images%3Fq%3DFaux%2Bhawk%26hl%3Den%26biw%3D1138%26bih%3D528%26gbv%3D2%26tbs%3Disch:10,308&itbs=1&iact=hc&vpx=674&vpy=188&dur=230&hovh=227&hovw=222&tx=157&ty=95&ei=P8LRTPiLHpm8jAeT_OywDA&oei=L8LRTKioIdCRjAfwh5G3DA&esq=2&page=2&ndsp=23&ved=1t:429,r:5,s:24&biw=1138&bih=528

Actually, I already have that style XD Well not the one in the picture, because I don't have a make-up artists and hair stylist at hand, but I do style my hair into a 'faux hawk' as you informed me to.

Haha, I see now, I see... So you want something really different?

Then something like this: http://hairstylesdesign.com/gallery/photos/short_men_hairstyles_3410_5331.jpg

Get's you all the attention, but the "hey look this guy is awesome" attention... :')

That's an alright style, but the little line and thin consistency just looks too 'chav'.

But I do want it to match my music preference, as like, Metal-heads at my college all have long hair, the chavs have no hair... and the emos all have fringes. If you follow stereotypes.

I don't want it to be too WOW, but I want it different. I'm considering going for a short haircut, around length 5, then getting a mohawk covering from mid eyebrows in width.
Bit wider than this, minus the strange facial expression:
