I've been out of the loop for quite some time now but just thought I'd throw in a couple thoughts. So the main idea here of Light here is to be used with Wanghu? How does it run? Both are unsearchable so it seems as though you could have problems every now and then with Light being dead and whatnot. Can it compete well with classical anti-meta without Light because that seems like it could be a problem for you here in the long run, seems like you'd eventually come short against a capable Lightless build.

It's a cool idea, just saying though.

Actually, LoI also pairs with Future Visions. Furthermore, when I have Wanghu, LoI and Future Visions, I get to choose whether any given weak monster is removed or destroyed, which helps dodge things like Darksoul.

The lack of searchability hurts, but that's why Sarc is here. Though I need to test, I'd hope it's not completely reliant on LoI.

I can't bring myself to spend $250 for a card that's inferior to Master Ball. We've had this discussion before, right? :/

In any case, I haven't really... tested. I should, but I have my classes and such getting in the way. I don't know if speed is an issue.

well I tested this a while back... yea there's a problem with Skill-Drain +Wanghu... that pissed me off.

Also, Caius, that's good stuff.

You mean Drain and Wanghu contradicting? Can't that be avoided by just waiting for Wanghu to be killed?

you know I haven't really thought about it, but taking out Skill drain destroys the purpose of Malefic Stardust and Beast King...

Malefic Stardust just becomes a lot worse. It can still do its main job that I added it for in the first place - protect Future Visions/Necrovalley. But yeah, Barbaros loses all meaning. Perhaps swap it out for something more meaningful? We could always leave it in here as a flexible beatstick...

LOL, this deck went from 17/17/6 to 18/18/4, it seems that the Monsters and Spells seem to insist on having the same amount, LOL.

Purple isn't as bright as the other two secondary colors, though. Brighter is cooler. :/

In any case, is there anything else this needs before I (finally) get time to test?

BUMP

Could use some help here... I have a rather large issue that I've outlined in the above post, and those have resulted in every test duel ending in a complete loss. I mean, seriously - it even lost to freakin' GEMINI because it couldn't handle PHOENIX GEARFRIED. You know there's a problem when something like that happens.

I was thinking to add a large amount of removal in general,since this problem persists into every duel. If Rai-Oh can't run over it, there's a problem for this deck - even moreso if CyDra can't handle it.

So I was going to add:

Smashing Ground
Dimensional Prison
Mirror Force
Torrential Tribute
Bottomless Trap Hole

Etcetera. That said, I only see 3-6 readily available slots:

1 Wattgiraffe

1 Cold Wave (maybe)
2 Heat Wave (maybe)
2 Upstart Goblin

Heat Wave requires either a good amount of guessing, or a lot of practice. I can't figure out which, but I always hand onto it and then end up being able to do nothing as my opponent proceeds to swarm. Because of that, I'd easily toss it. The same logic can be applied to Cold Wave, as this deck can't use that turn of no interference to OTK.
