~NOiSE~ Posted June 1, 2015 Author Report Share Posted June 1, 2015 yeah i heard that they went down that path, though i havent heard anything theyve done i have a feeling that their newer stuff is probably not all that bad, some fans hated it others embraced the change, which is to be expected when a heavier band softens up. After listen more, the album has a lot of death metal influences as well...I guess you can say it's an early deathcore album except it's actually awesome. I'm an anime girl for you Moog<3 Embodyment is more death than core, and the core parts are more 90s metalcore, so it doesn't really feel like a modern deathcore album at all. Refused is just being Refused without trying anything new. Glad I got to see them live 7 hours ago though. Next up are probably Frog's sophomore lp and Envy's new lp. Guitars and Drums are enjoyable. I think TDWP are one of the few metalcore bands that exceeded their shelf life and still can create some great stuff. New envy is great, haven't listened to that Frog album but I've heard it's good.Heard Envy's new lp got a lukewarm reception. Won't judge till I jam the whole thing though.
