Darj
So, I decided to design a Deck that revolves around "Black Salvo" while using "Machina Fortress" to send monster to the Graveyard for "Chaos Sorcerer". At the same Time, I added Ancient Gear Dragons to revive "Machina Fortress" and "Geartowns" to destroy them and bring the aforementioned Dragons, or to make the Tribute Summon of a Dragon easier if I am in a desperate situation. Also, "Geartown" it's basically my insurance card against "Black Rose Dragon", plus I can get "Ancient Fairy Dragon" with "Black Salvo" to destroy it myself and Summon a Gear Dragon. As you can see, this Deck it's a mixture of many styles, and I hope you can help me with making it more efficient. Monsters: 20 x2 Machina Fortress x2 Ancient Gear Gadjiltron Dragon x2 Chaos Sorcerer x3 Machina Gearframe x3 Dekoichi, the Battlechanted Locomotive x2 Black Salvo x3 Road Synchron x3 Genex Neutron Spells: 9 x3 Geartown x2 Terraforming x1 Mind Control x1 Monster Reborn x1 Foolish Burial Traps: 11 x3 Compulsory Evacuation Device x1 Call of the Haunted x2 Trap Stun x2 Bottomless Trap Hole x2 Forced Back x1 Return from the Different Dimension Extra Deck: 15 x2 Chimeratech Fortress Dragon x13 Generic Synchros, including "Ancient Fairy Dragon" Why "Road Synchron" and "Genex Neutron"? "Genex Neutron" is a LIGHT Machine-Type monster that helps both "Machina Fortress" and "Chaos Sorcerer". It also thins the Deck by searching for "Black Salvo". "Road Synchron" is yet another LIGHT Machine, and can be a target of "Genex Neutron". Why am I not considering "Dimensional Prisons" or "Mirror Force"? I prefer Compulsory or Bottomless over those cards because they are faster: with Mirror or Prison I have to wait for my opponent to attack, and can be destroyed by MST or other cards before my opponent enters the Battle Phase. Compulsories, however, can be activated in response and will get rid a any monster my opponent may have, ruining his/her plans or at least protecting me from an attack. Why "Forced Backs"? I prefer to get rid of any monster before it gets a chance to attack. Also, without a monster on the field, monsters like "X-Sabers" or "Blackwings" cannot start swarming. However, if you think that cards like the Solemns are way better, I will consider them. I know that I am trying here to mix everything (Synchros, Chaos, Geartown and Machina) in a single Deck, but I don't know what to drop (or add) to make the Deck make consistent; that's why I am here asking for suggestions: Do you think I should take the Geartown part away? or perhaps the Synchros? or maybe continue trying to mix them perfectly? Sephiroth_The_Legend
Warning is better than Forced Back. The lack of Solemn Judgment is concerning it seems like you have too much going on here..... Machinas, Geartown and Salvo in one. More than 1 theme can usually lead to inconsistency....... It's best to simply concentrate on Salvo...
