lewis atherton
i fell you should edit the last effect to 1000 lifepoints if damage as i feel its to strong its like a trap but it just causes too much damage other then that everything seems fine
~Shadow of Alpha~
Agree with Black Ice, the 2000 makes it OP'd, but other than that it's a DAMN nice card! Great pic! ~Shadow of Alpha~
Great card! Pic: 5/5 Name: 3.5/5 - nothing special, a little boring Type/Attribute: 8/10 - Both warrior and spellcaster work fine Stats/Level: 10/10 - Perfectly balanced with effect Effect: 10/10 - It's original and special with a nice twist I really like and haven't seen before OCG: 8.5/10 - my fault If there are no monsters in your Graveyard, you can Normal Summon this card without a tribute[s]s[/s]. During your opponent's Battle Phase [s]this card's ATK and DEF is halved[/s] half the ATK and DEF of this card. Jaedumuth
The name reminds me of Jashin, the deity Hidan worshipped in the Naruto series. Since this lady carries a scythe just like Hidan, I can't help but to suspect a relation. This card is blatantly unbalanced. I have no critique on the effects this card produces, but 1000 Lifepoints is a darn lot. Just having this card in your deck 3 times and getting them on the field somehow, not to mention Monster Reborn... That's a tactic to have a 100% chance to annihilate 4000 Lifepoints of your opponent with just 4 cards, 7 including the tributes. 1000 Lifepoints is just too way too much from a practical perspective, and I would call my opponent a cheater if this card was used against me.
I know I promised that I won't go off yelling at people who don't have a clue what is overpowered and what is not, sadly, it's turning out to be harder than I thought ;_; Oh wow, 1000 points of damage must be such a big deal The card isn't "blatantly unbalanced". There are Spell/Trap/other monsters that can deal the same amount or even more as effect damage to your opponent. Also, notice the fact that this is a monster, which needs to be Summoned, and let's be honest here, the no Tribute clause if you have no cards in your Graveyard is situational. And the fact that on your opponent's turn, it turns into a 1000/1000 target. So yeah, I'll say it again, the card isn't "blatantly unbalanced".
I won't take offense to this uninformed opinion, but I would personally first try to play the game again sometime. I thought I mentioned there is nothing wrong with the rest of the effects, and especially the halved ATK and DEF would make up a little for it, but when the card is summoned, it can first take out a powerful target, perhaps dealing damage to Lifepoints, then the opponent would likely attack with some decent monster and send "Jashin Lady" to the Graveyard, thus activating the effect wherein the opponent would lose 1000 Lifepoints. Long story short, with this card on your side, you are untouchable, partially because of the psychological effect of making the opponent to consciously want to avoid sending "Jashin Lady" to the Graveyard through an attack, the most basic way of playing the game. This card is so unbalanced, it hurts.

Hardly unbalanced and those are rarely played. There's even an OTK that's used with Heal Burn, and that deck is still terrible. This card that Riolu made is mediocre at best. Ooh and Jaed, I am a very active duelist. And apparently I use more updated cards than you? XD

Good/decent players would find a way to outplay this card, bouncing/removing from play the monster let's you bypass that effect etc. And if the opponent is currently controlling monsters with ATK equal to or higher than 2000, then they just won't care about the 1000 points of damage, since you (the person who is running Jashin Lady), will suffer more damage than they did. And I say again, there are other monster/Spell/Trap cards that can do the job better than Jashin Lady and yet, those cards aren't unbalanced. Jaedumuth
Ooh and Jaed, I am a very active duelist. And apparently I use more updated cards than you? XD
That's very possible, I bought my deck 9 years ago, and my most recent cards are about 7 years old. Seeing those other cards influences me, but the first one is semi-balanced since it basically makes a difference of 500 Lifepoints, which is acceptable for a Spell card. The second card is absolutely powerful, but I suppose that is what the card does since it is a Spell card. In the third card... I don't want to go there, apart that seeing this makes me want to resent the game. However, when having played "Jashin Lady", there is a certainty that the opponent will most likely lose 1000 Lifepoints simply because the player succeeded in Summoning "Jashin Lady". I would protest.
Icy
500 LP is a slap on the wrist. And so is a 1000 LP lost when you will deal 3x that if not more.
