I've heard people say it's better than Effect Veiler 'cause it's Damage Step-able. And it is a pretty good Veiler replacement...Discuss. TheTurtleOnceCalledGod
Its useful, but only really in skill drain-esque decks. Effect Veiler, because it can be used from the hand during the opponent's turn, it has more potential. Inb4holygrailjokes
Zeppeli Gyro Supreme
They both have their upsides and their downsides. It really depends on which you think you'll get more use out of for your build.
Brinolovania
[s]Monty Python and the Holy Card Game?[/s] I still like it.
You can use "Forbidden Chalice" on it to not only boost its ATK by 400, but negate its own ATK-cutting effect, turning it into an instant 3400 ATK monster, and when "Forbidden Chalice's" effect disappears, "Barbaros'" original ATK will stay at 3000! Baroque in Paradise
Not that anyone plays them nowadays, but Toon decks love this card -- because if your Toon World is going to die, you can chain Chalice to not only save a Toon, but once it sobers up it'll resume attacking directly without a care. Imagine a Blue-Eyes Toon Dragon standing tall and not having to worry about Spell/Trap destruction. Sure, there's everything it can run into as a monster left over, but it's best to deal with that hill when one gets to it.
Manjoume Thunder
Effect Veiler is that good because he is a tuner.
Brinolovania
But this can screw Ryko/Hamster...and you can use it to make Barby stronger.
Buttercup
Veiler dodges Cold Wave and Trunade. This doesn't.
Dr. Cakey
DON'T DRINK IT! DON'T DRINK IT!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! This, boys and girls, is good card design. Wide utility, multiple uses. Feels sort of like Book of Moon.
