Counter Force

I have thought of new cards. They are bent on negating effect, then being Special Summoned. So here they are.

Counter Force Warrior
EARTH

Warrior / Effect
When your opponent activates the effect of a monster you can negate that effect and destroy the monster. Then Special Summon this monster in Face-up Attack Position. As long as this monster remains Face-up increase the ATK of all Face-up 'Counter Force' monster by 500.
1500/1300

Counter Force Spell Striker
DARK
****
Spellcaster / Effect
When your opponent activates the effect of a Spell Card you can negate the effect and destroy the Spell Card. Then Special Summon this monster from your Hand in Face-up Attack Position.As long as this monster remains Face-up your opponent must set Spell Cards before activating them and they can't be activated until next turn.

Counter Force Trap Bomber

Spellcaster / Effect
When your opponent activates the effect of a Trap Card you can negate the effect and destroy the Trap Card. Then Spcial Summon this monster from your Hand in Face-up Attack Position. As long as this monster remains Face-up all effects of your opponents Trap Cards are negated.

Counter Force Beast
EARTH

Beast / Effect
When a card is placed in your opponents Spell/Trap Card Zone you can negate the effect, if activated, and destroy the card. Then Special Summon this monster from your Hand in Face-up Attack Position. As long as this monster remains Face-up your opponent can't place monsters in their Spell/Trap Card Zone.

Counter Force Reinforcements
EARTH

When you Special Summon a 'Counter Force' monster you can Special Summon this monster from your Hand in Face-up Attack Position.
1600/1400

Counter Force Soldier
EARTH
****
Warrior / Effect
When your opponent Special Summons a monster you can negate the Special Summon and destroy that monster. Then Special Summon this monster from your Hand in Face-up Attack Postion. As long as this monster remains Face-up your opponent can't Special Smmon.
1600/1500

Counter Force Mage
DARK
****
Spellcaster / Effect
When your opponent's card effect would destroy cards on your side of the Field you can negate the effect and destroy that card. Then Special Summon the monster from your Hand in Face-up Attack Position. As long as this monster remains Face-up cards on your side of the Field cannot be destroyed by card effects.

Counter Force Strike
Equip
Equip only to a Face-up 'Counter Force' monster. The equipped monster gain 500 ATK and DEF. If the equipped monster would be destroyed your can destroy this card instead.

Hidden Counter Force Base
Field
All Face-up 'Counter Force' monster you control gain 500 ATK. If a 'Counter Force' monster would be destroyed you can discard 1 card from your Hand. That monster is not destroyed.

Counter Missles
Continous
If there is a Face-up card on your opponents side of the Field that restricts attack you can send 1 Face-up 'Counter Force' monster on your side of the Field to inflict damage equal to the monster's original ATK.

Counter Deflect
Trap
Activate only when your opponent selects a Face-up 'Counter Force' monster as an attack target. Destroy the attacking monster.

Counter Whirlwind
Trap
Activate only while you control a Face-up 'Counter Force' monster. Destroy all Spell and Trap cards on your opponents side of the Field. The destroy all Face-up 'Counter Force' monsters on your Field.

If you have 5 Pot of Greeds in your deck you can't use them all because that's illegal. That doesn't make it a balanced card. The effects are too overpowered from the hand. There is no possible way for your opponent to counter it, and then they have a beefy effect on top of it which just completely sends the whole "balanced" thing out the window. Maybe if you had their effects like "Tribute this face-up card to negate a Spell Card's activation and destroy it" that could work, but come on.

Pretty much because cards that can negate [i]any[/i] effect, are either too costly, situational, or just easy to remove from the field before they get the chance to use them.

Let me just give you an example of what I mean:
Turn 1
Player 1: Hehe. Alright, I Summon Red Gadget and use its effect to add...
Player 2: I Summon Counter Force Strike Warrior and negate your effect, plus destroying your monster. He also gains 500 ATK from his own effect, so he has 2000 ATK.
Player 1: Oh... Umm... Then I guess I activate Smashing Ground.
Player 2: I Summon Counter Force Strike Bomber and negate your Spell Card. You also have to Set all other Spell Cards the turn before you activate them. And because of Strike Warrior he has 1900 ATK.
Player 1: Then I set a card and end...
Player 2 draws
Player 1: I activate Wa---
Player 2: I use the effect of Trap Bomber and...
--Skip 2 turns--
Player 1: Okay, I finally activate my Set Lightning Vortex to...
Player 2: I use the effect of my next Strike Bomber to negate that card's activation after you discard your card from your hand.

Do you get my point?
