You might think it's OP, but in truth it's really not.

If Eternal Rest is used, it would not affect the monster, just the card itself. Eternal Rest would be able to destroy the card but not the monster.

Any other spell/traps as far as I know are unable to do anything.

If the monster is attacked by battle, or by it's effect, then you can destroy this equip card instead.

So, in truth, if there's a monster that can't be destroyed by monster effects, all you need is either Eternal Rest or a monster with stronger attack.

I'd say it's slightly OP. anything I can do to make it less OP?

The way I think the card should sound hope you dont mind I borrowed DarkMugen as it was 90% of what I was going to say and I only noticed it after I started typing...teach me to skip read lol. Nice idea and nice effect. I have the same kind of Equip Card in a series I am working on too, great minds think alike!!
