1. My hometown would be Phoenix, Arizona. According to Wikipedia, there are 519 square miles of city, 518 square miles of land, and a fifth of a square mile of water. Apparently, our population is 1,601,587, whilst our metropolitan area has 4,364,034 people. This is all according to the 2009 census.
You know, it sounds really big on paper, but when you actually get into your car and drive around, this city doesn't seem too big. It's so poor around here, there's not much to do. It would make sense why all that happens is random house parties, and the radio stations like to throw events a lot. I think our most popular activity down here is probably clubbing, though I've never done it. This city is really what you could call a ghetto - at least, the parts I've lived in.

2. I feel it is kind of boring, but that just makes me believe you've gotta make your own fun. I was born and raised here, and excluding two years of my live, I've never lived anywhere else. (Well, I lived in Glendale for a while, but it's just as much a ghetto as Phoenix, honestly.) My girlfriend is moving in soon, and I'm content with that. The community college gives me an opportunity to go to school cheaply until I can save up enough to go to the university in Mesa. So no, I wouldn't really wanna leave.

3. I'm pretty sure other teens and kids want outta this city. A lot of people from around her end up becoming those "I want a more natural environment" kind of people. This place is a lot of buildings and businesses, and being a desert there isn't much green unless it's specifically cultivated, like in the one or two country clubs I've seen. However, most adolescents I see just fall into the whole Gang scene, and end up either getting shot or getting set straight by their parents.

4. Yeah, I believe they wanna explore the outside world. It's easy to feel trapped in this city. There are buildings pretty much everywhere you go, and highway where there isn't. It's enough to make one feel claustrophobic. When I was younger I always wanted to get out because I felt like this city had me trapped in, and I wouldn't be able to go anywhere with my life as long as I lived here... but I realized people control their own destiny, and you can't let something like your setting keep you down. But to most people, this place feels like a trap, so I can understand why they'd want to see what the rest of the world is like. Maybe it would be nice to see a place that isn't poor in every aspect of the word...

I compare it to Indianapolis, considering its only a hour away. I don't consider it a metro unless the city actually gets tourist. =/

The only thing we have is being called the original "Sin City" and being home to a famous Whore House (which is demolished now) in which Al Capone frequented.

^Trust me nobody comes for that...we do have a new Children's Museum though..never been in it.

EDIT: Phoenix is a true city.

I won't give my birth town (though I might have stated it before. If you know it, do not say it's name please). However; Hilo, Hawaii is where I spent most of my life. No I never really did, it's a nice place and wouldn't trade it for anything, but here I am away from it. I'll move back eventually.

I don't know if they'd want out, everyone was too content with their lives. And I'm not sure how to answer question 4 >_>...

1) Prefer not to say.
2) Nah, its more of a rip of if anything. I could go to the cinema for less in the O2, London, than my local cinema.
3) Yup, although my friend doesn't fit in those cats. she's 22. She prefers where she went Uni in Leicester.
4) Nope.

1. Hometown is Kingston-Upon-Hull. Apparently it's the 2nd Worst Place to live in the UK. I don't live there now, but 11 years of my life was spent in that dump.

2. I now live in a village in the middle of nowhere. Of course I want out.

3. *Counts on fingers the number of kids/teens in village* Just about all 6 of them.

4. This is an odd one. I've moved a few times, so I'm kind of used to exploring. I don't particularly like it, but sometimes it's a necessity. Odd isn't it. I don't like moving, but I'd pretty much anything to get out of this village.

1. What is your hometown?
-Some city in California, you stalkers.

2. Do you want to get out of your town? Feel its boring?
-Nahh, it's honestly quiet and such, but it's not a long drive from where everything else is. I'm in perfect distance to go to tons of places to hang with friends and see family. It's quite fun.

3. Do other kids/teens want out of your hometown?
-A lot of my friends live around here, but I've never met someone who wanted to live in my city for the city alone. Sometimes, they want to just move to where I am to just be closer to me and the friends who live around here.

4. Do you believe that its wanting to explore the outside world?
-I've been to many places, even outside of America. I go traveling a lot and I know of a few cities that I wouldn't mind moving to. Exploring is fine, but I love where I live, so I'm not complaining.

I live in Yokohama (in Kanagawa) right now. It's a nice place, and it's not boring at all.

No. Not one.
4. Do you believe that its wanting to explore the outside world?
I'm not sure on what you're trying to say, but assuming it means "Do you want to explore the outside world?", yes. I want to go to many other cities and explore all of the country.

When I grow up I want to live in the countryside, as long as a wealthy job is waiting for me there.
