Zeppeli Gyro Supreme
And anyway, I don't see the point of using Magical Merchant. It gives you a card in your hand, yes, but you're possibly milling cards you want to add to the hand. And plus it has nothing to search for from Verdant. [/quote] Merchant and Man Eater can still search other copies of themselves. Zeppeli Gyro Supreme
I used Doom Dozer in a deckout deck which was very defensive. The problem I run into a lot is that you're only using a few cards to attack with, so your opponent usually has a way to take care of said card by the time it goes to attack (or just comes out). And usually they will use something to remove it, not just send it to the Grave. So let me know how this goes if you test it out any time soon. Buttercup
nice pointless anecdote Maybe, the deck seems fine.
Zeppeli Gyro Supreme
Was just pointing out the flaws in the deck design. Not to rag on you, though. Also, you probably already read, but... OCG says "If an Insect-Type monster is destroyed by battle, then you cannot activate the effect of "Verdant Sanctuary" if the Insect-Type monster was not face-up on the field and selected as an attack target. Thus, if an Insect-Type monster is face-down on the field is attacked and destroyed by battle, then you cannot activate the effect of "Verdant Sanctuary"." Dunno if that crosses over or not... Buttercup
OCG rulings seem to be different from TCG then, as JGM got a ruling straight from Konami.
