.Starrk
It's a problem. It's just a way release for bullies to do this because they really have no friends. It's out of fear.
Dаrkrai
I agree, there are often more reasons for bullies to bully though, issues at home for example. :/
JG.
I was once bullied. Then I learnt how to break someones arm with little to no effort. I'm not bullied anymore. Summary: Learn martial arts, problem solved.
Quicksilver
Who cares what other people think about you? If you feel that bad about it, the first time someone tries to bully you, you fight them long and hard. Even if you lose, as long as you thought well, you'll be respected. Telling a teacher about it is one of the most pointless things you can do, they usually try to make you the bad person.
Icy
Telling a teacher about it is one of the most pointless things you can do, they usually try to make you the bad person.
That's because if you do join into that fight, you are the bad person (along with the bully). Self-defense isn't "He hit me, so I can hit him back"; it's "Unless I have NO OTHER CHOICE! keep running and inform a person who can handle it without someone getting injured". Bullies aren't worth anyone's time, just keep walking.

hexcalibrate
i'm against bullying especially cause i'm the one being bullied most of the time and has pretty much turned me into a pyscho-path (a person who has no remorse from previous actions) but their are just a couple of guys that do need to be bullied (by which i mean those arrogant, smug gits who think they can do what ever they want and get way with it), they deserve anything they get
Grunt Issun
This isnt the 8001st thread on this subject or anything, nooo[/sarchasm] OT: Use logic as a backlash, bullies are usually to dumb to understand it, so they get there brain fried
Tentacruel
I was homeschooled, so I never have to worry about it. Now I'm in college, where there is no bullying. There is only assault and battery, which is a bit more rare.
Clair
I just ignore the people that try to bully me. =/ It's amazing to see how few of them stick around if you don't speak a word to them.
.Ash
I don't get how people think the "ignore" tactic works. You walk past, they try harder, to the point of making the bullying physical. Where I live, you stand your ground early or be bullied. No other choices. But then, I grew up in a rough area. Marisa Kirisame-ze
It's horrible. I see bullying all the time over TV and the news. But never have I witnessed bullying myself, besides once being a victim to verbal bullying, which was easy to get away from. If I ever to witness it, I'll surely protect said person or contact authorities. It honestly needs to stop.

Ghoulish
i've never had any personal experience with bullying, I've always had lots of mates and a good social status. But what I can tell from bullying is that there's no single reason for bullies to bully, it can be based off many things so we can't assume why it's being done or how to stop it even, there are ways we think can stop it but really it depends on the individual and how they will respond, you could use intelligence to overcome their stupidity, but then again they may not be the dumbest of the lot either. It's all based off the scenario, but there are some way that are understood to work or simply make things worse. Don't knoww what else to say really, that what the case normally is. DARKPLANT RISING
Bullying people for no reason is a no-no, mainly because they don't deserve it. Bullying people because they fail at life is a no-no, mainly because they deserve to grow up till they mature and lead a fail life.
Zeppeli Gyro Supreme
It's funny that bulling used to go "If you can't defend yourself then you're not a man!", but now they're all about telling teachers/parents and ensuring that kids don't get picked on. I believe there was even a mention of bullies being possibly sent to jail for a short period of time (depending on their age and offense, outside of regular reasons). Darth Duelist
Most bullies bully people because they are troubled or have some sort of problem. They take advantage of their victim to appear and look more popular and/or powerful. OH LOOK AT ME!!! SINCE I BULLY JIMMY, I'M COOLER AND BETTER THAN HIM. Nope! And the people worse than bullies are bystanders because they just watch around and/or encourage bullies. Rias Gremory
hmm.. to be honest I had never been bullied in my life. Although I SEE BULLYING ON MY SCHOOL! I have never been bullied. I never get involved with them I just ignore them. But if you ever be bullied you either do something to be respected at school or you tell an adult. Dark
Crab Helmet made a beautiful post on this topic in one of the fifty other bullying threads back in my day, so I will attempt my best to recreate it. > Using logic to counter a bully will just result in physical harm. > If a bully resorts to physical harm, your only options are to run away or fight. > No one on the internet is strong enough to fight a bully- and win. > Therefore, everyone who says they do not run away from physical harm are liars. The only problem is that not all bullies use physical harm, and emotional harm can be ignored fairly easily if you are the type of person who could give a damn less what other people think. However, I'm fairly sure it's proven that a majority of those who bully others (where bully is a semi-subjective term) are of a generally low intelligence level, so we can all rejoice in the fact that bullies will end up failing high school, not attending college, and working at McDonalds for the rest of their lives. Grunt Issun
Ahh yes, I can just imagine one day, perhaps I'm a succesful buisness man, mabye I just work in an office, either way, one day I decide, "Y'know, mabye I want some McDonalds today, I think I can spare it" so I drive on over and when I get to the window I see an old bully at my school "Hey Chris! Is that you, you remember me, Jacob from Facs class, you used to bully me alot... and now Ive got a great family, enough money to live off of until I'm 80, and a great job! So how's life for you? Workin' at a McDonalds? Helping create heart desise and diabetiese? Earning minimum wage and living with your parents, still as overweight as ever? Well this was nice, lets meet up agian sometime, Caio"

It just doesn't make sense, you know. Apart from that, if you had a consciousness nice enough to get a great family, enough money to live off of until you're 80, and a great job (the grammar here is quite nonsense), you wouldn't say something like that, and you wouldn't even be going to McDonalds due to being rich, and your family would be with you should it actually happen. Maeks sens. And you sound like you're the bully afterall. Maybe that's why some people even care to bully you now.
