Fortune Ladies...

Okay, so I'm quite unhappy with the Fortune Lady Deck that I (we) assembled 1 or 2 months ago. I made changes, undid them again... and now I don't really know where I stand.

Just to make this clear: You can change [i]anything[/i] in this deck except:
3 Fortune Lady Light
3 Fortune Lady Dark
3 Future Visions

Everything else is up for discussion. And I promise I won't say anything like: "I don't like the card, so it's out." I really want the best deck possible... so yeah, here we go:

The deck is fine. Perfect except for some minor changes - Take lady wind to 2. Fire to 1. Kinka Byo out of the deck. Put either cyber dragons or any light attribute - Thunder kings are very lolzy with Future Visions.

oh I didn't see water was @ 3 in this build - she needs to be @ 2 - you could put in a 3rd TKR or a 3rd Wind.

A card I main in my version along with The Tricky is Dark Simorgh.

So much Wind really needed? I mean, I already have Trunade and Trap Stun... will test it though. Fire can get nearly everything out of the way, which I like a lot, while Wind makes way for the big attack... I'll test both variants, 2 Fire, 1 Wind and 2 Wind, 1 Fire.

Thunder King? Here? Hmm... yeah, it would stop nasty Special Summons over my Visions. And the only searching card is Terraforming. Will test it.

This deck is all about abusing Light's effect... and the Field Spell is mandatory, no discussion there.

Fortune ladies dont really gain much from synchroing so tuners arent really needed, Tradgodia is too situational, and u dont need a terraforming if you already have 3 future visions and the draw power. Magical Mallet for bad/dead hands, another wind for spell/trap removal since u dont have MST, DAD bc fortune ladies control the graveyard a lot, and battle fader for if you lose your monsters and need to stop a direct atk. if you dont want another wind you can add a sangan to search out battle fader and kinka-byo (also good for DAD fodder).

Every Deck gains much from Synchroing :blink: Even the remote [i]option[/i] of getting out a Goyo or, better yet, an Arcanite Magician can save lives. Effect Veiler is too versatile to let him out here, a Tuner, a Spellcaster and his effect make him worth being here.

Why do you suggest Battle Fader, whose Summoning is far more restricted and doesn't even add to the deck at all, while Tragoedia has 2 bajillion effects (okay, 2) that can help you out at any time? You can select it's level freely, it can take over monsters without any real cost... I don't need to get it, do I?

That would be a change I understand. But then came this:

Seriously? A -1? No thanks. Terraforming can transform the deadest of hands into an at least decent one by stalling my opponent (and that for sure), while Magical Mallet just exchanges one bad hand for another, with 1 card less in my hand.

Agreed, I'm currently even testing 2 each (Fire and Wind)

DAD does currently not have a lot of targets, and since Kinka-Byo is out (I agree on that one) and Battle Fader won't be added, I'm good without the additional destructive power. Still, he would be viable in here...

Sangan can't search Fortune Ladies, and everything else doesn't want to be searched.

I don't need mindless beatsticks in here. If I have enough Levels out, then I also have Future Visions out, so Normal Summoning it is out of the question anyway. And then, if I have enough Levels out, I'll most likely also have Fortune Lady Dark out with at least 2400 or 2800 ATK, more than enough to get rid of the most threats. So no, no Calculator in here.
