THE GOD OF OBELISK
He only ran one The Shallow Grave Personally, I've always found 3 Needle Worm helpful..
evilfusion
I just playtested the deck. It works really well once it gets rolling, but I can't help but think Card Destruction would make the deck so much better.

evilfusion
Playtested again, this time with Card Destruction over Mallet. I didnt even use Mallet in my first game (it was set uselessly on the field), but I remember wishing that I had Card Destruction a lot in the first game. I haven't had any issue yet with one Needle Worm and one Shallow. The deck runs through cards fast enough that by the end, you usually have both Morphing and Needle and can still keep flipping them. I never really liked Shallow much, and in this deck, there are only 2 Flips, so Shallow isn't needed in 3. The preference of only one Needle is probably to focus on getting Jar immediately, which replenishes your cards, rather than straight mill. Multiple Shallows would get a bit more dead-drawy, even if Hand Destruction, Spell Reproduction, or Magical Stones can use it as fodder. The Reproductions are awesome here. With most of the deck Spells, there's almost no time you can't use it. Both test games I did won on Turn 3 (going first). This coming in a high place does not surprise me. evilfusion
Trunade + Card Destruction = win. Plus, Trunade lets you activate Quick Plays you may have set that turn (by accident or conservation reasons).
Tronta
this is baffling to me. in all fairness, i never tested reproduction. it seemed costly and situational. one shallow grave, and one needle worm.. that's really messing with me. i've run it at 1 worm before and it's been alright, but it really got more consistent with two. i don't think i could run shallow at 1, though. that's like, half my means for filling the field. strictly speaking, i think he assumes that with one shallow, one of his flips gets set and the other gets special'd, but that's just major inconsistent to me. no card dest is messed up as well. i'll have to test this build. Mehmani
This. Is. Brilliant. Throughout the entire time I have played the TCG I have waited for Flip Trolls to top. And finally a build does it. Awesome.

Mehmani
Hey, this is actually a really shitty Flip Trolls build too. That's great. OT: Guy must have had great match-ups.

Tronta
i think i prefer mallet to reborn. shallow is infinitely better than both though. and yeah, the guy must have had great matchups. so much accidentally cockblocks trolls that it can't be consistent. ffs, if the opponent drops macro you have to scoop. trolls is probably one of the easiest decks to side against, frankly. JadenxAtemYAOI
Jar #2 works good too against some decks. I'm not sure about the effect because of my memory but I think hiro's shadow scout can be used as well. Hand Destruction and Card destruction are a must. Same with jar but penguin jar combo works wonders when you're lucky. Basically flip jar then flip penguin to send them both back. Use spear cretin to bring jar from the dead in face down. lol
