Imaginary Scenario - Structures Decks

Recommended Posts

Something I was wondering...

Imagine this situation:

As you know other games use to release for each of their set a sort of preconstructed Decks that bring basic tools to start playing with a number of strategies or combos the set can hold...

Now Imagine if that happened in this game...

Say that each pack brings up also 1 Structure Deck featuring in a basic way the lineups for the cards on the set...being a new archetype being introduced or just a mechanics to be explored...

Obviously these decks will be constructed using some reprints and mostly easy to get cards for a first instance but it may also bring copies (And why not alt rarities) of cards from the Set they belong to...(OH and you know those Deck use to bring New cards those will remain aviable only in those Structured Decks till later reprint)

These Deck will be limited edition BTW...

Discuss if these kind of thing is viable and how would the game would been like if say...this mechanic was adopted since...say the Duelist Genesis....or Something...like in...Crisom Crisis SD features Morphs...or...IDK...

I have no idea what you're trying to say.

Structure decks based on concepts and archetypes.

Just picture X-Saber structure with 3 new broken cards, common Faultroll, complete with Saberhol + Emergency Call

I mean, if the structure deck contains card that could only be aquired through itself, than perhaps, but we already have generic ones which tend to fail on their own.

Why go through all the trouble of buying packs only to get the same cards found in a structure deck? Maybe some of the other archetype are still in the set? Well than, whats the point of making a deck of the cards if you're gonna have to buy the packs anyways...

Seems rather clustering and pointless.

The Deck would obviously bring some hard to get cards from said set as an insentive

I might post and example to see if that makes my point something more clear.

It's not stupid, it's pointless. Different things.

Also, Sex Samurai.

Konami should have been Smart and made Storm of Ragnarok's SD about one of the Gods in that case...

And BTW AZUH did hit somehting I may have missed...
The number of cards in the set

IMO in this situatiions Set would been a little Bigger of course...like 100 to 150 cards
Also the decks distribution may work in this base

40-41 Cards (In case one boss is a Synchro)
5 Cards totally exclusive to the Structure Decks (Just like usual) (1 Ultra 2 Supers 2 Commons)
12 to 15 Reprints (11 to 14 in Common Rarity, 1 in Super rare)
The rest of the cards (Including 1 Ultra/Super from the set as a Secret Rare to make it look Pretty...XD)
