[J-Max Quickie] Snail Princess

Evening YCM. Just to show that I haven't forgot how to make cards, I present the Snail Princess. She slowly increases in strenth the more Phases that pass. Also proud to introduce some new OCG to the table so it may not be perfect ^_^

This card cannot be Normal Summoned or Set. This card can only be Special Summoned from your hand by Tributing any number of monsters you control during your End Phase. While this card remains face-up on the field, all card effects that involve Turn Phases (except this card) are negated. Both players must conduct all Phases during each of their Turns if able. Increase the ATK & DEF of this card by 100 x the number of monsters used to Special Summon this card for each Phase that passes. When this card is removed from the field, increase the Life Points of both players by an amount equal to half the ATK of this card.

I...love it...
I really do. It definitely isn't super powerful, or anything of that sort, but the effect makes me happy. Although it may just be because of the image..

Also, wouldn't she negate herself? You forgot to put a little clause on how much it can negate, I think.

9/10 because I love it, but it isn't too handy, either.

Ah, yes!

Good luck with the other ratings.

Just one thing of how frail it is worries me. If you summon it during your first Main Phase, it has only 700 ATK by the opponent's first Battle Phase. This thing becomes a huge beatstick by your third Battle Phase after summoning it (That would have it at 2500 ATK or so).

This card is very fun.

Nice to see that you're still in the business, J.

It's an interesting card, that's for sure. Love the effect, but seems rather slow to get up to speed. This would be good in stall decks. On a good note, this card is fodder for Trade-In.

As always, the image is nothing short of my expectations from you.

9/10 for you - only because of the speed factor.

As said before, it's really slow to get up to speed (lol snail princess). Since you summon it during your End Phase, that gives it 400 ATK by your opponent's battle phase. (Draw Phase, Stanby Phase, Main Phase, Battle Phase) It'd probably be a little better with a higher base ATK, just so it can survive a little more without other protection.

Very nice though.

Huh.

So.. would this negate effects that end in a certain phase too? Such as powerups from effects? If so, awesome. if not, okay. =]
So this really just negates things that designate certain turn phases. like, this would negate threatening roar?

weird concept. This can trip up someone that isn't really paying attention.

I suppose that the samurais would still work against this menace, though. ;) though before Hand could potentially destroy it it could already have 1000 ATK points or more...

anywho, good card. It makes me think.

9/10, as always i guess.

Any effect that states a Phase in their effect is negated. So for example of Mirage of Nightmare is activated, its followup effect of Drawing cards is negated and the card remains face-up on the field stuck. Also costs for effects are also negated so Archfiends would LOVE this card. Oh and get this, Swords of Revealing Light? Seeing as there is no effect due to the Phase ending. Swords could stay forever :P

Actually, Threatening Roar states that your opponent cannot declare an attack, not that your opponent skips the Battle Phase, so this wouldn't negate it.

Also, the change in attack increase makes it better. Good card.

Meh. To get any real gain, you need to tribute at least 2 monsters and then use another card to protect it during your opponent's Battle Phase (and that's assuming they have no removal cards) - the only time I think this would be used is in some possible OTK that involves negating a clause designed to prevent such an OTK, but I can't think of an exmaple now. Seems terribly UP'd and its negation effect doesn't seem that helpful - Not much removal mentions phases after all.

In an Insect-Deck it would be easy to make a couple of Tribute monsters using 'Multiplication of Ants' or the like. Even if you just got two Tributes in it would still have 2400 ATK by the End of your next turn, so providing you can protect it for your opponent's first Battle Phase, this could become a major problem quite quickly.

I like the idea of negating 'Solomon's Lawbook', 'Frozen Soul' etc, but I don't like the everlasting Swords of Revealing Light deal.

Good to see you still churn out inventive stuff Jay.
