darkwolf777 Posted January 2, 2011 Report Share Posted January 2, 2011 I like how a Normal Set with 0 Tributes Fusilier Dragon can be tributed for both Deck Devastation Virus and Eradicator Epidemic Virus As for this card, there are a few Level 4 2000+ ATK Dark Monsters to get this effect rather easily. Two problems with your post. Firstly: You seem to be think that giving up a monster (and the tributes you used to summon it, or the 2000 LP + Mausoleum) is somehow considered "free". That is grossly inaccurate. Secondly: You seem to think that a monster being tributed for a cost and a monster being destroyed by an effect or by battle are the same thing. As long as [i]Light and Darkness Dragon [/i] has more than 2000 attack, when you activate [i]Deck Devastation Virus[/i], you can tribute that [i]Light and Darkness Dragon [/i]. This is due to the fact that [i]Light and Darkness Dragon [/i] is used as the cost to pay for [i]Deck Devastation Virus[/i]. If the second effect of “Light and Darkness Dragon” is activated and an effect is chained that removes “Light and Darkness Dragon” from the field or flips it face-down, the effect of “Light and Darkness Dragon” will disappear and the activation of the Spell, Trap, or effect of the Effect Monster will not be negated.[1] Since [i]Light and Darkness Dragon [/i] is not destroyed, its 3rd effect will not activate and [i]Deck Devastation Virus[/i] will not be negated.
