Wrong for two reasons.
1) Trishula is Level 9
2) It requires a Tuner and [i]2 non-Tuner[/i] monsters.

You read wrong.
You Summon a Special Summon a Synchro monster who's level is equal to the level of said Dark Tuner. Nightmare hand went from 10 to 9 via Level Eater.
Second, these arent exactly Synchro Summons, its just Special Summon that gets [i]treated[/i] as a Synchro Summon. so therefor, the number of Tuners/Non-Tuners doesnt matter.
